hello,
me and a friend with an help from an /out/sider decided to wander into the woods for a day. everything is set except for food. we are thinking about buying bunch of gas station sandwiches and bringing drinks. what other sorts of food would there be to add to the experience.

Just get Cliff bars,Trail Mix, or dry food like rice and beans. I mean, don't get me wrong, I've had some great gas station food here and there but there's not point to intentionally giving yourself diarrhea while camping.

Some gas stations have pretty decent sandwiches, anon. One I used to fill up at on my way to my friends' farm even had nice grilled panini and an espresso bar. I'd usually stop by to get us lunch even if I didn't need gas.
