Here is my cheap knife. I actually love it, its really well built. The pocket clip got bent one night so i took it off and made a neck sheath thing for it.

Yeah they do a good job on that finish. It doesnt wear off either. I think mine was a limited edition, i cant find it any more. These run 12 bucks on amazon.

I just got a Cold Steel Bushman as a general camping knife.
I chose this knife because it is small enough to handle most tasks but it can also be easily turned into a machete for bush clearing/chopping.

Got my first Mora knife when I was eight years old, I still have and use it.
