Ok so im pretty new to this board and would like some advice. I would like to start bowfishing and would like to know a decent set up, opinions are always welcome. I would also like a set up that wont break the bank but i work for an outdoor retailer so i get a decent discount (probablyvwont be working there past this month so i want to get everything hunt and fishing related before i quit)
General bowfishing tips would be welcomed as well since i am fucking just as new to bows as can be

Im currently looking at this set up but i dont know if it is worth the 350 price tag or if it is a total ripoff. It has a 40 pould weight

Where are you located OP? Because in Florida, I bow fish armored catfish in neighborhood canals with sharpened dowels and a shitty bow I got out of a garage sale.
Yeah, it's probably not what you're looking for but its still fun to do on weekends for <20$

You could probably get a regular bow and just get specialized arrows. I'm getting the samik sage recurve for Christmas. I'm hoping to hunt big game.

Actually that is helpful as fuck i keep hearing that i should cheap out , as long as it has 30 to 40 lbs it should be fine for carp. I also keep hearing that a cheap recurve is the way to go since its going to get wet, slimy, bloody, and beaten to shit.
Does anyone have anything to add?
