Don't listen to these faggots OP. I know this feel. I thru-hiked the PCT this year and I'm loosing my mind at home right now. I hate my new job. I hate the responsibility of property. I am really edging toward spending the rest of my next pay check on some new gear and going train hopping. Society blows. I was going to try van life, but even that seems like too much of a pain in the ass considering gas and insurance. Without passive income, I'd be much happier on foot than living in a van. Your thoughts?

>Nimblewill Nomad
he looks exactly like any other ultralight thruhike hippy.

Erm, yeah.... Have any legendary /out/-related figures to post?
Skurka is pretty cool guy, and Anish is pretty quick. They're in sorta the same vein as nimblewill, but he's pretty crafty, I heard stories about him calling into radio shows and yogi-ing up homestays like a motherfucker.

Although completely unsaid, my point was that after going hiking for an extended period of time, I don't feel like I can comfortably reintegrate with society (and I think that's a common issue). There are plenty of loons who become hiking fanatics and dedicate their entire existence to hiking after getting a taste of it. I'm sure there are thousands of triple crowners'. It's just walking.
You come across rather naive by the way that you posted how it took Nimblewill 10 years to triple crown as if that were record breaking, how he hiked the Pony trail at a whopping 1900 miles (which is much less than any of the Great Trails), and how old he was when he started as if it were significant. I met people in their 60s doing more miles per day than me on the PCT. I met a fellow who hiked the PCT in the 70s before it was even finished. I'd go so far as to say you probably haven't been out for a week or more at a time in your entire life, as you obviously don't grok what it is you're posting about.
So when you say,
>>901737
>better than being a wage cuck and working your whole life.
It makes me wonder, why don't you start practicing what you preach?
Your thread sucks. Fuck off OP.

Okay cool, so you don't have any legendary /out/-related figures to post. Thanks for contributing.
Also I'm not that anon you're quoting.
