hey /out/, is it possible to catch crayfish/crawdad in winter?
>>894145
I believe it should be possible to do so if ur down in the south. Although they may be hibernating deep.
>>894150
what about trapping them, when the water is around freezing point?
>>894145
so, /out/ only knows about cringy knives and never to use bug out bags?
They stay in a type of hibernation/stasis underground during winter.

Its a slow moving board shit dick, might have to wait a day or so.

lobsters are caught in ice cold water, most fresh water crabs like clean cold water.
so why not?
>>894145
Nope.
Better wait for late Spring.

Where are you located?
Crawfish usually are found near springs in FL and these springs are the same temperature year round

Traps are easy to set for Crawfish and yield quite decent if you know where to place them

Entitlement : The Post
OP needs to relax, no need to be so impatient
In the same amount of time between your thread and the first response, you could have researched and been extremely well versed in Crawfish catching/trapping
Even further you could then post your newly obtained knowledge in this thread with the idea of helping others just as you were seeking help
