What's your go to day pack? What do you use to get your kill /out/? What hear goes on your bag.
I use a pic related for day hikes with a knife and saw and lunch and sometimes only 1.5 liters or so of water depending on weather. It's capable of strapping a hind quarter using ropes as it doesnt have bottom compression straps to get me out of the place I'm in. Then can switch to the j34 with nothing in i but a liter of water a flask of whiskey and a knife to pack out the rest boned out or not.
Anybody have a reccomend on a replacement for my day pack?

I'm a climber and a hunter. My climbing gear is way better quality than most hunting gear I have, so I usually end up using any climbing gear I have for other activities.
I recently packed out a black tail by myself from the high country using my mountain hardwear south col 70. Worked great, plus it's waterproof without needing a cover. Still sucked ass what with the wind, rain, mud and huge weight though.
