Rate my wood.
Looks like wood. Think you did good in that respect.

Good job OP, nice yard as well.
>Not stacking it by the cord

Gotta do better than that.

2 months supply of hardwood, 8/10
>>881887
Looking thick, tight, solid. Keep us posted man.
Wood/10

>2 months supply
That will probably last me three years or more depending on how cold the winter is. If it stays warm for weeks at a time like last year it will probably rot away before I use it all.
>>882030
>wood against the house.
a shit.
It keeps growing.
,
Looks like a you had a bunch of teenagers stack that but they didn't want to so just threw it in a pile. 3/10 would push over.
>>881887
Rotten 0/5
>he stacks wood rather than bricks.
Do er right!
Cover that. For shame.
>>885311
Proper job. Would have left a space between rows tho
>>885311
that's so beautiful
>>882030
why is your wood touching your house
>>882030
Oh.... Look the welcome mat for house destroying insect pests.... termites, carpenter ants....... etc.
>>885902
We use it up in 3-4 months depending on the winter and it's been split and dried for two years.
>>885906
This year's supply. We recovered the decks w/trex and the leftover pallet it came on was for sure not going to the dump.
>>886733
Proper
>>886863
And here's part of next winter's supply; pile is about 8' high. We'll be cutting to length and splitting this soon. Yes, we have a hydraulic splitter.

faggot/10
>>881887
darkish color means it was exposed to rain, so you better burn those first... I don't think it would last another year. It starts to rot and won't burn well.
well done tho. Is that like 25m3? That would be a solid 1000€ here.
>>889411
For us that that would be enough for a year and half. Using oil would costs us about 2000€ per season or more.
It's worth the effort and working in forest fucking rocks.
>>889411
That's red oak. I think it will be fine for another year or two. I'm burning the last of some oak I had cut down four years ago right now and it is still solid.
Also I drilled into one of the pieces on the right side of the picture that has been there for over a year. Less than one centimeter under the surface it looks like I just split it yesterday.
anyone have animals move into their wood piles?
>>889476
My splitter and my now ruined lawn tractor. I had to buy a new "garden" tractor this Spring to tow that big whore around
>>889488
I had a family of cats living under the wood on my carport. They moved away after I spent a weekend moving more wood under there. I think there is a little possum under there now.
>>889488
Always; mostly mice, and I watch out for spiders when we haven't had a few days of real cold weather.
>>889489
Noice.
The manufacturer?
Powered by?
>>889642
Troy-Bilt gasoline powered 27 ton splitter.
Goes through this stuff like it's nothing.
>>889656
Swisher 32 ton here; B&S powered; can be used either horizontally or vertically for the really big pieces.
>>889825
Must be nice. Mine has seen better days. She was good before she was part pressure washer
