I'm going for a 3 day milsim, and I need an android app for offline maps, with decent zoom, and satelite view, one that will show coordinates too. There are several choices, any suggestions? Personal choices?

What choices have you found so far?

People who go there suggested Custom Maps
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.custommapsapp.android
and gave me a .kmz file with terrain of operations, I'm trying to get it to work.
Get a cheap lumia phone
I downloaded a complete uk map on mine from the windows App Store all free and works off line
The lumia isn't much good for anything else but for use as a cheap gps it does the job

I use wikiloc, a worldwide track sharing community it only has Openstreetmap offline, (more if you are in the Pyrenees). So far it has been extremely useful.
