My dog can carry 10 lb in her pack.
I hike twice a week with a 50lb sack of corn on my shoulders. I have 2 deer feeders, so I walk in with 1 on each shoulder, drop it off, then walk to the other feeder. It's conditioning. The first feeder is probably 150 yards in, down a slight hill, across a creek, up the bank of the creek. The second feeder is probably 400 yards from the first, and up a 20ft hill. Shit fucking sucks and I don't look forward to doing it.
