Into Thin Air is pretty great though, Krakauer was actually part of the 1996 Everest disaster and it's hard to fabricate too much since the whole thing is very well documented. In fact he doesn't come out looking that great (poor Beck Weathers) and gives credit where credit is deserved (Nat Geo/Imax team, Nepalis Army, etc).
