Most people dislike sporterized rifles, but I really dislike the full Enfield stock. .303 British is pretty expensive, sadly, but such a fun round to shoot.
I'd like to pick up another bolt action in the future and I've been looking at Yugo Mauser.
Just a few from a hike I took this weekend. Pretty small pleasure hike, 4 miles round trip with a 2000 foot ascent.
This was at the base looking to the mountain directly across from it.

Seriously though, what was he shooting at?
>>872401
Knocked a shotgun shell off a stump on the opposite bank.

I can own plenty of AR platforms. They're restricted here in Canada which means you can own them, but can only discharge them at a range which is bullshit. Same goes for handguns and other firearms under a certain barrel length.
Dem angles
>>872146
By "ledge below it" I assume you mean a ledge above the ground? The ground barely looks 300 feet below. Where do you get 1500 ft from?
>>872447
It's a bad angle so you can't really see the drop off. Part of the trail runs just beneath the drop point with another ledge off that. It is 1500 feet from that point though, my ass had to climb it after all.
Taiwan, Alisan Mountains.

I went to a lake that used to power a iron forge in Gimo, Sweden.
>>873274
North side of the lake had this march. Picture is taken from a hunting tower.
I built a firepit today. That counts, right?
Guy in the back is about 6'2"
12 days of rain, one of the few glimpses of sun.
I don't know if this qualifies as an /out/ing but I took the pic while walking back home after doing some work in the woods with my dad. Supposedly, it's one of those places where they put salt for deer to lick. There has never been any salt in there in all the years I have walked past so this time I decided to take pics.
>>873279
that's a handsome farr pit anon. i'd say it counts.
I wanted to go up the tower but it was closed.
Not a great pic.
I did a day trip through Shenandoah, drove the Skyline Drive and got out and hiked a bit too. So many pretty waterfalls and cascades.

pic related is near my house, Morse Woods near Pacific Grove/Monterey California, view of the Pacific Ocean and Asilomar Beach

Also the Morse woods on a different day, closer to the average amount of fog for a coastal NorCal day.
>>877897
Anothuh one
>>877899
A Coastal Redwood tree. There was a grove of them, about 7 or 8 but probably some more that were shorter and concealed behind the Monterey pines and live oaks. These ones aren't that big for redwoods but were quite massive compared to the other trees. Approaching their wonderful trunks was not a friendly option, however, for there are blankets of poison oak that cover half the forest floors around here.
