Pretty low risk, we got the tunnel open, but it's flooded about 300 yards in so you can't do much. The ruins are cool and apparently there are some places I haven't found yet that people don't like to give the locations of so that DNR doesn't fuck it up. You can get into some of the outlying buildings near the hot cell storage if you climb the fence around the left side, but there isn't much there. Hot cell house is welded shut.

I don't really know that region. But if you look up on Google Maps, there is three huge natural reserves near the border. You'll easily find good hikes at the local Tourist/Info office.
