Did any of you faggots even get /out/ today? central Texas here, pic related from maybe an hour ago.
>>850964
Yeah bud. Mid SC/GA border here. Went /out/ to a nice wetland park and chilled for the day. Saw some cool birds, identified a few mushrooms; shit was dope.
>>850964
Went hiking in Sedona today. Weather was great.
>>850964
I live in the middle of a city and have no car, so actually getting /out/ is rarer than I'd like.
I did go for a walk in the park though. Better than nothing, it almost feels like you aren't surrounded by streets in some places. Here's a shitty picture of a woodpecker in the same park from a while ago
>>850964
Did you eat that or are you some sort of queer or something?
Nope, working 9-9 today. Currently on break sadly.
>>850964
I went to the burrito shop and the beer store, if that counts (separate trips). Saw a woodpecker in my back yard but the pics are still on my camera.
I fucked my ankle up Monday. I'm just getting to the point where I can get around without crutches.
Shit sucks.
>>850964
Is that a newborn?
I can never tell size without something in the pic for comparison.
And I live innawoods, don't need to get out of bed and I'm technically /out/.
>>851059
Ace wrap, ice, elevate
op here good to see a handful of y'all actually got out and didn't sit here and meme/shit post or look at gear all day this board is a joke now.
>>851067
no sir it was right at about three foot long i'd reckon still a young one though.
>>851010
i caught it by the tail and let it go didn't eat or kill it i was two miles down the trail didn't have a pillowcase or anything to transport it in and there were normies out trail running and mountain biking
>>850968
Right after that pussy hurricane rolled through too, so shrooms were flowering up everywhere. Nice crisp 75f out with some clouds. Very pleasant.
>haven't been able to go out for weeks
This sucks
>>851220
Since they normally retire hurricane names because of devastation, they should retire "hermine" because it was such an utter disappointment and destroyed my expectations of tropical storms.
>>851059
Do your ankles a favor and stop being aggressively fat.
>>851233
Yeah I remember Hurricane Ivan was more insane for me, in Ohio, than that wet fart was Friday, in Georgia. By a long shot too. Still, at least it was good for mushroom hunting. I found some cool shit yesterday, and something I think is an Agrocybe I haven't seen before.

I have neon green/yellow right now.
Crappy camera on tablet doesn't do justice to the neon tones.
I went on a trip on Thursday and came back today.

>>851287
cool
>>851345
it's hunting season, so there are many armed people in the woods this time of year lol
just try your best to not look like a deer
I stayed /in/
I drank an entire bottle of slovak slivovitza at 3am.
Fuck
>>851347
so you are telling me, i cant wear my deer costume this year while out?
>>851644
> drank /in/
makes me feel better about having a couple of beers innawoods Even after tripping on a stump & rolling down a hill; being covered in mud with tree branches sticking out of the pack. still was able (barely) to go /out/
I just got back from camping in Helen, GA. We climbed up this semi steep cliff face and found a waterfall that was like a natural slide into a pool. Pretty cool. Also found a ton of salamanders.
I've found 2 of these fuckers in my house in the past few weeks.
According to Wikipedia, these things are supposed to be super rare to see because they are nocturnal and hardly ever come into the light.
But yet I've seen one chilling out in my foyer and another in my bathroom.
what do? They're supposed to be harmless but slightly venomous?
>>851769
Ya they're venomous, but only dangerous if you're a tiny frog.
I'd find it a nice place outside if you have property.
If you're in a suburb type area I'd take it to a pond/creek somewhere.
They're easy to keep as pets but I'm no longer a fan of keeping wild caughts.
>>851302
Whoa, that looks cool. Don't see many that color.
>>851059
Litteraly broke my ankle Monday night too...I was drunk and did a front flip off a picnic table, now I get to have a broken ankle for the first 2 months of college
>>850989
The saddest thing I ever did see
was a woodpecker pecking on a plastic tree
he looks and me and "friend" says he
"things arent as good as they used to be"
Took my dogs on a long walk through a local pine plantation gone feral. Found pic related, first of the season so far.
Mowing the pasture today, probably see a few snakes doing it. Went hunting in the Texas hill country last weekend, and will again this weekend. I have a fondness for rattle snakes and while I have killed and eaten a few, most get a pass.
Saw this snagger while squirrel hunting the other day.
central texas here also I just ran today in the city. saw a few deer I don't know how they survive there used to be forest but it was destroyed by development. I think they just go from yard to yard eating the grass and plants. Has to suck not to have real woods as shelter anymore. Must Feel Bad Man.
>>850976
That looks like a nice place to go innawoods. Do you run into a lot of people?
