Does /out/ put patches on their backpacks?
No, that's cringy as fuck, even worse when backpacks have tons of velcro on the outside. I did buy some out round patch because the anon doing it was top notch.

>>845007
also this one
dude wtf you raised the prices damn high whats wrong
>>847145
reminder that original patch guy was based and delivered quality patches and then new patch guy co-opted the venture to make an absurd array of shitty quality patches to make money from /out/
You want patches? Ok make your own
1. Take whit tshirt
2. Cut out a piece much larger than the patch
3. Use duct tape to tape this piece of cloth against a sheet if printer paper. Make sure there are no creases
4. Open Word or any program that allows you to resize a picture with correct measurementd
5. Insert the pic you want as patch and make sure its on the same spot on the virtual sheet as the cloth on your real one
6. Put sheet in printer (wörks only with inkjets)
7. Set printer to highest quakity
8. Print
9. Let the patch dry in the paper sheet, dont remove it yet.
10. Buy a rattle can of matte clear coat
11. Cover your patch with several layers of the shit. But make sure none is too thick
12. Use exacto knife to cut out patch. Leave a 1cm rim of white cloth around
13. Fold the rim to the back (the clear coat will make the cloth stiff as starched)
14. Sew on your shit.
Voila, patch.
>>848429
wouldn't that bleed quite a bit?
>>848430
Nope. Thats what you use the clear coat for. It soakes the cloth and covers also the ink, protecting it from air and water.
I got a patch on my backpack I printed that way, still looks good after two years.
>>848439
hmmm, how did the quality come out?
I was considering making some cheaper fabric ones, and can still make buttons if anyone is still interested
>>848442
The quality was better (read: sharper, more crisp) than most embroidered patches I've seen.
Off course: Its just t-shirt cloth with inkjet ink. But then again: Its fucking easy, cheap and a real good way to safe some bucks for your own, customized patches.
Hell, you could even get a blank embroidered patch, print your patch the same size and sew both together.
Here, this pic is from pinterest. Be aware that this girl obviously used some very empty black cartridge. But it gives you the idea of the quality
>>848446
that's pretty good, some of the designs have smaller details
>blank embroidered patch, print your patch the same size and sew both together
something like that
I'd want some kind of backing to stiffen things up
>>848448
Well: Be creative bro. And yeah: even a cheap inkjet is accurate enough for small details.
Just try it out. If you dont like it, you wasted a 1,99 shirt. It wont fuck up yer printer. Just make sure you use thin paper so the whole paper+cloth+tape package aint too thick for the printer. I got a cheap canon and it works like a charm (although I mostly use this method for scale modelling flags and the like)
>>848448
Do it faggot. And post some results.
>>848429
WTF???
Why did I never try this out? Its fucking obvious...
>>832938
>This guy is still making and selling shit quality patches
>Commercialized what was originally a fantastic community project
>People are still giving him money
Why? I realize he has a monopoly since the original patch anons stopped and no one else took on the challenge but holy shit are his patches inferior in quality. I do commend you on the variety of designs though, even if they do look like an 8 year old down syndrome chinese slave girl has sewn them by hand.
>>848421
i should have ordered them when i had the chance maybe im looking into it and try to reproduce some cant promise anything but i keep you informed
>>848554
Yes my embroider overcharged the fuck out of me and I'm making no money on my investment of $1000.00.
There is a difference between weaved and embroiled patches. Weaved looks like prints anons who sells those are Crimson Caravan and NEET patch guy. Mine is all stitched and embroiled rather than weaved so won't look like theres.
The other thing is they aren't low quality ask any anon who bought from me. I have never had a anon send me text after receiving patches saying they want to return.
Oh and me being a Jew Scab like you describing me is untrue. Ask anyone who ordered from my store they always get bonus stuff especially if they leave nice comments on the sales page.
I know you are the one critical faggot that pops up in every patch thread. Please I beg of you tell me what you have done for /out/ if you hold the community in such high regard?
Also I have taken out more than 4 Ad's on 4chan the one income that keeps this whole Mongolian basket weaving forum afloat.
Do you even have a 4chan pass?
I made all these stickers for you guys to ad free to orders cost me $300.00.
>>849031
Forgot pic of stickers!
>>849032
Dont let them fuck you up, Anon. You should know that anyone who made a business out of 4chan board stuff will get fucked over sooner or later by some basement dwellers. I checked your shit, I like it - although as someone from Gercuckistan it would be too expensive for you and me to order.
Keep on working bro.
>>848446
Those printer lines, quality bro
>>849070
Here, a Flag I printed for a scale model. Its about as long as a thumb is wide. You can even see the stars. Tell me thats not more than enough for a patch with 3 or more inches diameter
>>849086
wow that is pretty good
wonder what other fabric would be a good choice
>>849121
Up to this point I only tried out cotton. For larger patches I use t-shirts and the scale model stuff is on handkerchiefs or bandanas since t-shirt cloth would be too thick for a 1/35 scale flag.
>>849086
That color will fade away. Printer ink is terrible for this. Even transfers and regular printed shirts fade under the sun. A proper embroidered patch will last dozens of years.
>>849123
>dozens of years
>implying someone would still be as active and carrying a pack with patches on it 12 years later, let alone multiple of 12
>>849123
Cry me a river. Printer ink is made to resist uv rays so you still can read documents after years you giant mong
>>848554
I see you every patch thread I swear and you seem to be the only person with a fucking issue. I don't personally buy patches, maybe I will later, but that doesn't matter.
Instead of being a sperg lord and pointing out a problem, fucking fix it. Shit, start your own patch projects and do a better job. Don't just criticize/bitch/point out a problem and not come up with a viable solution for the patch guy.
Plus, what the fuck is it to you this guy creates patches? Why do you care so much as to come to every patch thread and just straight bitch? All this talk about community and you're the only poisonous faggot with nothing to contribute to the community.

In America we don't carry rocks due to ancient Indian folklore. Let me tell you the motherfucking story about the Indian Rocks in Indian Gap (primary sourced story. Don't bother looking for this one anywhere but an archive)
Back in the fucking days Jesus was alive the Indians in West VA and the Shenandoah Valley would fight. They raised each other for hundreds of years. One smart thinking West VA chief needed a way to count how many men he lost. He got all the Indians to carry fucking rocks up the mountains and gaps in the Shenendoah on the way to battle. At Indian Gap these Indians would toss their rocks off the fucking mountain in a particular spot. When returning from battle they would collect their rock. The chief would go last and count the remaining rocks, signifying how many men had fallen in battle. Well, wouldn't you know it, one day the entire tribe got slaughtered including the chief and like 500-1000 random fucking rocks mark Indian Gap where they tossed them.
That's why burgers don't carry rocks up mountains and stack them. Bad voodoo,
>>854278
