an area close to my house was hit by a flash flood recently. I want to explore the area however, I am wary of unknown dangers. What shhould I look out for? Right now I am very afraid of stepping in a puddle and getting zapped

My biggest concern is floating sewage. When it floods septic tanks tend to leech hard.

all that water could potentially wash the unsightly bums out of the alleys and into the streets
bring some kind of air filter mask, who knows what kind of particles could be floating around after all that mud and sediment got disturbed. when my town got flooded we had to wear filters for a couple days, even just out on the street.

Just go /out/ and explore. Quit being a weeny and just do it. Get dysentery and gangrene like a man. If the cops tell you to leave the area tell them to fuck then off fight them.

Worse is that most cities have combined storm/sanitary sewers. Yeah, I wouldn't go into that shit unless I absolutely had to.

just wear waterproof boots because that sewage will be everywhere and you will catch all kind of nasty shit from it including skin infections dont breath it in either.
