what do you hunt them for?
Are they edible? I was under the impression sea birds tended to have a foul taste.
>>826387
Considered a delicacy in Iceland. Apparently quite tasty.

Anything edible is considered a delicacy in Iceland
>>826421
it doesn't even have to be edible such as rotten pee sharks or hot dogs.
>>826385
we hunt them for meat. we break off one wing and pull the other one to get the breast out.

>sea birds tended to have a foul taste
I've eaten most everything in existence and nothing ever tasted bad except a few insects that used foul chemicals to prevent being eaten. Something healthy and prepared correctly should not have a bad flavor.

Ive seen them around alaska, never would have thought to eat one. Can you compare the taste to something?
>>826529
its hard to compare it too other meats but if you have tasted other Auk birds its not to different. but i does not taste like shag. the closest i i can say it taste like is beef. i like to grill them or smoke them
