If they're similar to the species down here in parts of the coastal brush in Southern California they aren't ideal landscaping plants. The ends of the leaves are sharp as razors the plant grows a long stock with seed pods until they are fertilized thereafter the plant dies and the seeds scatter about multiplying the plant leading to larger densities of them.
