Post some /out/-themed infographics for those of us that are too lazy to read.
I'll kick things off.

Fek.
This one is good if you don't want to get eaten by a bear.
>>814715
Wait, shit this one has terrible advice regarding bears. Read this for bears: http://www.pc.gc.ca/eng/docs/v-g/oursnoir-blackbear/index.aspx Can't say for the other animals.
Always a beautiful thing to see others dump your library.

Yeh man, good work. I would post the mega link if I knew where it was.

>pack hotdogs
these need to be refrigerated...don't pack hotdogs at all.

I tried to put some useful fishing stuff together, especially for new anglers.
>>814733
>3 hours without shelter
maybe should have been more specific with this one
>>814807
nice
>>814782
Thanks!
I'll compress a new .zip file and shoot out another torrent in a few minutes.
>>814807
are people only fishing for predators in america? or do you also have some fish that bite on maggots, corn, bread etc? I know that you have carps but dont like them, anything else?
>>814907
If it can't kill you, why eat it?
>>814689
This chart is shit
It doesn't say why I shouldn't pack the things in the don't column. Sounds like it's from a click bait hippie nutrition page with low fat low salt low sugar high antioxidant and biological stuff.
>>814907
Catfish kinda. But carp are like the main freshwater fish that doesn't prey on smaller fish.
>>814892
Sorry for falling asleep last night everyone. Here's the new torrent link:

My gf gets bearraped evrr night!
>>815189
lol. son, why is she covering her neck and clenching her buttcheeks?
>>814916
don't shoot the fish.
>>814733
>3 hours without shelter
>this is what SAD neckbeards actually belive
>>815363
Shelter meaning exposure - like being naked during -20F blizzard, the shelter in this case being clothes.
>>814689
This is some healthnut garbage, my friends and I climbed Mt. Katahdin and Knife's Edge eating only Keebler Fudge Stripes and goldfish crackers.
Eat whatever won't give you stomach cramps when you're hiking
>>814809
Fuck ye, Norwegian forest cat. I have one.
He's my little buddy. Well, 12 lbs buddy.
>>815183
thanks anon, acquiring now!

Stopped reading at don't pack oily peanuts
Oil is the highest calorie per gram food in the world, and peanuts are full of protein, your info graphic is fucking retarded
protip: you will never use these. You'll never learn anything decent from a bloody infographic that you won't learn from plain text with diagrams in half the time.
These are just flashy shit that appeal to casual outdoorsy people and people who don't go out at all, made by people with even less real world experience. Look at half the fucking food ones, it barely matters because you can have so many other problems on a trip that eating nuts with 3.2mg of sodium vs. 2.1mg of sodium doesn't matter at all.
And nutrition on a 1-night camp doesn't mean shit.
tl;dr fuck off imgur

>STOP LIKING WHAT I DON'T LIKE
>>814689
this pic is utterly retarded disregard everything it says!
>>814799
they are fine for a day tho if you eat them first night nothing will happen.
but it's a shit info-pic overall full of bad holistic advice.
>>815387
12lbs is not rare for housecats at all, main coons which are descendant of nord forest cat weigh twice as much.
>>814708
oh no, i forgot to take my 20 pound bag of flour to make my trail cookies! better make some from cattail roots like the piece of trash i am
>>815660
nah mate. I used to like these and I genuinely saved 100+ of them.
I'm just saying that these are dumb and you can't rely on them. I tried to and had a bad fucking time running along a trail in the pissing rain at 2am
>>815744
>can't rely on them
>tried to and had a bad fucking time running along a trail in the pissing rain at 2am
Now I have to know - please post the related infograph
>>815754
I don't have the infographs anymore,
there were 2, one on knots for shelters (didn't work - ended up soggy and lying on the ground cocooned in a tarp) and the other was for some dumb fire-making method (used all my dry wood for it so couldn't get a fire going)
Ended up soggy and worryingly cold, firgured it would be better to at least warm myself up by heading back to the trail head and be able to sleep in the car instead of trying to spend a night without bare necessities
>>814733
>3 hours without shelter
oh man, im gonna have to shorten my dayhikes
>>814700
I have this on a poster
>>814689
What is this packing infographic for? It is like a fat ass who drinks diet sodas made it.
>>814809
>>815363
>>815868
obviously not meant for when the weather is perfect and you are clothed appropriately and dry. extreme exposure kills fast way faster than thirst or hunger.
usually you can check this off the list right away, however making a shelter a first priority is not a bad idea anyhow no matter how nice the weather is. a storm can come night can get chilly etc...
Apologies to those trying to download the torrent last night - we experienced a power outage here. It's back online now.
>>814689
Why is this so against salt? I thought salt was good for you when you are sweating a lot.
Also, agave syrup? Anybody use this?
And why the hate on raisins?
>>814689
Im a food science and tech graduate student, and I approve that infographic. I wish it would kinda lay off the adjectives though
>>814916
Is thatva tv remote
>>816655
Or a cell phone
>>815203
cause he ignored all the "no don't"
>>816470
Yea agave not necessarily lower glycemic index than sugar anyways.
Hate on sulfured raisins I guess cause it can cause bloating
>>816643
You sound bad in your field
