Osprey Comet or Nebula.

North face bags are /fa/ tier. They are not made so well as their price suggests. Get an osprey or a deuter.
Recently got this as my everyday bag and so far its great. Side pockets each hold either a 1L drink bottle or thermos. 3 different pouches inside so laptop, tablet, paperwoek/books. Also has a hole up top to use a hydration bladder. Has heaps of pockets and pouches to keep lottle things safe and secure. Repels light rain pretty well too.

I have the exact same one. Use it as my second everyday pack and as a day hike pack.
works great for me, but it's relatively expensive.
I probably wouldn't buy it only as a day pack, but I wanted something that works well as day hike pack as well.

I have/had two TNF Terra bags, a Diad 22 and a Stormbreaker 32. I never had a problem with any of them.
Sure they don't have the Osprey warranty, but on sale they're a steal for what they are. This hating TNF / Patagonia meme needs to end.
