Not at bear lake now, but I was at Libfest there couple weeks ago.

Aitkin/Cass/Itasca Countys are my /out/ choices when it comes to season almost nobody is /out/ in some of the backwoods. I like to head up to Ely/Isabella and hike around the pines every now and again in the fall and hunt some squirrel.

Op here. I have checked out Boundary Waters several times and have already been to Itasca 3 times this year as I live with 70 miles of out. Definetely some cool pics posted though
