What are you cooking, /out/?
I just had lunch; onion rings and a chicken sandwich (pic related). It was delicious and it didn't heat up my house.

And a webm that won't fit on the board. Ignore the sound since it wasn't really edited for sound (due to massive noise from cicadae.)

Breakfast. Nothing much, just some beef stew; enough to have it for lunch too.
Dinner, baked chicken sandwich and onion rings again.
I'm just now seeing far better results while using this rocket stove. Everything from planning to tending the fire to knowing how it will treat/cook the food is becoming more like clockwork. Soon, I won't need to even think about it and will still have good results. Then I can take it into the field and use it on short camping trips to see how well it performs and things come together.

Good work, Anon. Great to see someone actually cooking on a homemade can stove. Everybody's main concern seems to always be boiling water. It's nice to see someone preparing whole meals with one.

I think it is like that because those people don't really plan to use their homemade stove all that much and instead just wanted to make a DIY project. So, they test it with boiling water, since that seems to be an easy way to judge a stove's performance. If they do plan on using their stoves and are the type of person who takes photos of their stuff, there should be more people posting stuff like what I've been posting. However, novelty wears off very quickly, for most people, and taking additional photos can be a bothersome chore for some.
I confess, I've never boiled water with mine.
