Hey ya'll!

I am aware it isn't the best idea to eat fish from dirty water.
Is this the case for frog legs?

I'm looking to catch a few to eat some fresh frog legs but I want to make sure frogs don't get contaminated from dirty water.

The place where I plan to catch them has some very murky water and many of the fish I catch in those water have those black spot parasites in em'

Any experience with frog legs and frog hunting?

Stick them in clean water for a few days. That's what my mom said her grandparents and cousins used to do with frogs and snapping turtles.
