Anyone know of any good caves in central Kentucky other than Mammoth Cave? Preferably not really big tourist attractions, possibly even undocumented ones.

Daniel Boone National Forest has lots of unmapped caves that you can find simply by walking around. Found a huge one that had 15 foot ceilings and went like 120 feet back once just hiking. Must have been 5 miles from a trail.

Any idea where it was?
Join your local grotto. No caver is going to tell you where a cave is at unless they trust you .

Within 50 miles of Pine Mountain is the best guess I have from memory. Goodluck.

Just started caving so I have no idea how to find any organizations around here.
Found one. Climax cave is pretty cool, only went into the main chamber last night but definitely going back.
Sweet potato cave outside of smith and ky is one that we used to go to with the local boyscout troop.
Cool springs cave used to be fucking awesome in cadiz, but the last time I looked for the entrance I couldn't find it/everything looked different. It may have been bulldozed.
There's a rumor of one around here that goes all the way under the river and comes out on the other side, but I've never seen it.
