What is your everyday carry multitool, /out/?
>pic related, mine.

I wish! My cock went 3/4 chub when I saw this pic
>>760359
I saw this one in a shop.
>>760373
Two big blades for everyday carry? Why?
>>760380
not that anon but they're both pretty small.
This thing was cheap and it's really compact. I like it but it's almost too small.
>>760358
the pen is mightier than the toothpick
>>760399
I'll consider having it.
>>760359
>dat carabiner placement
>>760380
I normally have the Leatherman while fishing and the CRKT most of the time when I'm out and about. But the CRKT is small, it's only like a 3" or 3.5" blade and the shape of it makes it seem smaller than that.

Love mine
My old multi with the most important tool
Victorinox climber. Reasonable size and tool quantity. For extra cutting tasks I take an opinel 12
Gerber Dime, just wanted a small pair of pliers
>>760527
>>760589
Leatherman fucked up putting scissors on their little one instead of pliers..
>>760663
>>760671
How big are those? Larger than the Dime and Micra, right?
>>760380
I carry two knives on me. Inlet a Co worker borrow my knife once, nigger broke it while using it as a pry bar.
>>760677
If anything it's a bit smaller than the dime.
>>760694
Then I just gotta talk shit to the people at work for giving me a free Micra instead of the Squirt.
>>760511
is that just the paracord securing it to the belt? how secure does that feel. does it feel like a nigger rig or manufactured fit
>>760663
the biggest fuckup any multitool manufacturer makes is not putting files in literally everything. the leatherman 4 sided file is probably the best thing they have past the knife
>>760702
Nah, the paracord came with it to use it as a neck knoife but I just kinda wrapped it around the sheath. It has a regular belt deal in back.

>everyday carry
Here's my EDC not including phone and wallet-
>Leatherman Charge ALX carry inside top of left front pocket with pocket clip
>Kershaw folder in right front pocket
>SAK Manager model on the keychain (among all the other usefull tools it's got a built-in refillable ink pen)
>Fenix LD01 (10/10 compact carry lite)
Depending on a variety of factors I may leave the Charge at home or in my vehicle. Same with the Kershaw folder. But everything on the keychain stays on my keychain 24/7 365 days a year.
I find the size and weight of the SAK and the mini Fenix are perfectly manageable on the keychain. Especially as I really dont have a huge number of actual keys on my keychain.
>>760913
Alternate EDC MT is the Juice S2 original. Sometimes takes the place of the Charge
>>760917
The Squirt here in this pic is also an option but I rarely carry it. The juice is the smallest MT I'm going to carry if I really want to be able to get anything done with it.
And I do use either it or the Charge almost every day.
my grandfather worked for Gore and he gave me one of their anniversary multi tool
>>760399
>pen is mightier than the toothpick
I love the manager model
>>760735
>tfw no social life to use the corkscrew in.
>>761232
Why would that stop you?
>>760387
I like my Dime, but the pliers are too small to be much use for anything but really light duty stuff (and so are the scissors) and the file is pretty much useless. The package opener works well but If the knife had a sharp point you wouldn't need it.
I think I might almost actually prefer my Curve as an EDC keychain knife and beer opener, since all the tools it has are better implemented than the Dime equivalents, & I'll bring my full size Leatherman if I think I'll need pliers.
Don't laugh but I use this all the time.
haters gon' hate

cool concept
>>761253
kek. never stopped me.
>>761280
>Coghlan's
Damn right I'm hating. Having gear fail on me in the back country is one of my pet peeves.
Why would anyone be carrying a knife erryday??
>>761446
Because it's attached to scissors and tweezers
>>761455
To cut stuff
>>761446
Why wouldn't you? There are far more days I need a knife than days where I don't require one.
>>761446
>Why would anyone be carrying a knife erryday??
Because we're not effeminate liberal cuck faggots. We're free men and we actually do shit.
>>761455
>>761467
>>761468
Yes they come handy from time to time. But how do you carry them. Even the phone is a pain to carry most of the time because it ruins the line of my suit.
>>761472
I'm a liberal indeed but that has nothing to do with being effeminate. I'll have you know that I'm considered to be very manly.
>>761475
>considered to be very manly.
>yet, somehow must ask why anyone would carry a knife
I dun believe you. or you must be from britcuckistan
>>761472
>liberal
You should look up what that word actually means some day.
>>760543
You=me
except I use the victorinox tinker. Gonna switch to an opinel 9 soon though.
>>762395
Why opinel anon ?
I have tried so many multitools over the years, leathermen, Gerber, SOG, etc. And I found that the pliers on all of them suck to the point where when I need pliers I just grab a real pair and didn't even bother with the multitool pliers because they are universally crap.
I also found that the only tools on the multitool that I actually use are the knife, bottle opener and screwdrivers. So nowadays I just carry a smaller lighter knife that has those things I actually use and none of the rest.
> pic related, it's what I currently carry.
>>762421
Just because they're crap doesn't mean they're not good for handling things too tough for your fingers but not so tough you need real pliers. I carry a Leatherman juice sometimes and the pliers do suck, but I'd rather use them than fuck up my fingertips messing with some piece of metal.
>>761475
>I'm a liberal indeed but that has nothing to do with being effeminate. I'll have you know that I'm considered to be very manly.
Both these sentences
>I'll have you know that I'm considered to be very manly.
>mom says I'm cool
>>763326
>I'll have you know I can grow a mustasche. Sort of.
>>763588
Forgot to mention my question for this thread is at the bottom.
How to sharpen blade on Leatherman?
Any recommendation for sharpening tool from ebay/dx/banngood/ali?
>>763596
Get one of those Lansky kits that come with like 4 different stones, the guide, and some oil. They are around $30 and easy to find online. Smith's makes a similar one and you can find them at outdoors stores too.
>>760358
one of those from 2002
>>763589
Get a mora.
>>763659
But the Mora models I enjoy are all Carbon Steel; which I dislike and when I asked Mora why they said they know that Stainless is superior but because amerifags want carbon they made carbon and thus have no plans to make them in steel q.q
