For all you anons who insinuate none of us actually go inna
A bro and I have been making our 'couch', forgot my wide angle lens so you'll have to do with some mobile phone snaps after the first two shots..
>>758901
Comfy dug
Two walls of interwoven/stacked dead fall, 'couch' made of strategically arranged logs, just enough space to walk round the fire
>>758903
From inside, as you can see, good back support and plenty of space
Close up.
And the man of the hour, OP pic related, Boreal 21 pack down bow saw; couldn't have done it without it!
>>758901
We go out.
But not all of us fuck shit up and make a mess
It's ALL dead fall, and I pack out peoples ACTUAL trash - plastic, glass, metal, burnt tents and chairs, rope, string, tampons, tissues - every time I go inna, so don't give me your holier than thou shit.
>>758901
Ayy! I'm /out/side right now too!
Not making a mess and not sleeping here unfortunately.
>>758928
Heres a photo from last weeks trip, those two bin bags = other peoples trash. You triggered me, man. Relativity, okay!
>>758946
And here's my bed
>>758946
Good job op
keep the streets clean
>>758928
>>758946
>tfw I do this and there's literally a truck load of stuff and the fat park rangers just scratch their heads
Some even say they did that a month ago, yet the trash is vintage pull tab soda/beer cans. Hell, last time I did that I actually got about 50 2-liter glass soda bottles. There were even some antique, glass, pontiled, medicine bottles.
It is a shame really since the longest trail there is less than 4 fucking miles.
>>758947
Anon is it too much to ask for you to review the tarp? Also, why that and not a tent?
>>759024
I mean the hammock
>>758946
>Fucking based golite pack
Good job anon. Always makes me smile to see their gear still in use, wish they were still around.
>>758979
>the longest trail there is less than 4 fucking miles.
O beautiful for spacious skies,
For amber waves of grain...
>>758902
Whats your dog? Fox terrier? Also do you hunt with it?
>>759400
It is just a small park for social events. Like BBQ, church groups, lectures, hunter-safety courses, camp ground, etc. It is only 2,600 acres.
>>759057
>golite
Hey guys, how about we make a frameless hiking backpack? We will use thin cheap materials that will fail if loaded with more than 20lbs. We will market it to Ultralighters! They will buy anything to save a couyple of grams!
Wonder why they went out of business.

yes I've had the same experience in country parks.
> /out/ walking dug
> collect bin bag of trash
> can't find a bin to fit it into
> see a couple of park staff yapping
> ask them where I can dump all this trash
> they look at me like I'm a freak for picking up trash w/o getting paid or something
> obvious embarassment on one of their faces

Sure heres a quick breakdown:
Warbonnet ridge runner,
+ Super comfortable due to bridge design, hardly any shoulder squeeze compared to gathered end and nice flat lay
+ Integrated bug net well designed compared to DD bug net
+ Saddlebag pockets very useful and accessable from inside hammock
+ Good customer service (snapped a pole section fucking a chick and WB replaced for free)
+ Works really well in conjunction with sleeping pads
- Heavier/more pieces (poles) than gathered end
- Bigger footprint so needs bigger tarp
- Can be tippy if you haven't got two trees wide apart
- Doesn't work as well as a seat (perpendicular or parallel to hammock if you get me)
>>759057
Yeah I know dude I rated their stuff
>>759420
Do you own any of their gear? My Pinnacle is now 6 years old and going strong. It's been abused and overloaded, used as carry on, even used it to carry wood on a few occasions. Dyneema ripstop is pretty tough stuff so please don't talk out of your ass.
Re: frameless, yeah, it's a compromise. My other pack is a framed one and it is easier to pack but with a bit of forethought in packing frameless can be acceptably comfortable as long as you don't overload it.
My pinnacle carries up to 12kg quite happily. The cut and contour of the pack fits well, too, and the weight carries on my lower back as it should.
The zippered expandable pockets on the hip straps are the bomb, and the side compression straps are long enough to take two CCF pads together.

My tools
Just dumping random pics now..
Pipe I made
Tried out the tactical packs for a while, thats' a Camelbak trizip. Did not like it. Heavy and too small. Looking for a middle ground between that and the golite.
Ti stove + White box alcohol stove. The White box has been battered and abused and I absolutely love it for it's simplicity. No moving parts and IIRC weighs 1 oz.
>>759542
sorry for the huge uncompressed file, lemmi try that again...
Doing it right
Last one for now
>>759538
Did you take this pic?
>>758919
Woah there friend you may need to calm down.
>>759589
uhh yeah they're all my photos, why?
>>759535
>Do you own any of their gear?
I did own the Jam 50. It was shit. Sorry if that hurts your feelings. I upgraded to an Osprey exos 58. Worlds of difference in terms of comfort and quality.
>>759535
Now review fucking a chick in a hammock.
>>759967
Can't speak for the Jam but surprised it was 'shit' as it looks very similar to my Pinnacle.

Sure man,
>Gathered end over bridge hammock,
>Expect to get tight calves from weird pumping angle
>Spooning/doggy works well with the motion of the hammock taking out a lot of the work
>Her on all fours, or on her side with her hips out the hammock, you standing beside, you can use teh hammock swing to do all the motion
>same with bjs
>Would rate 8/10 for novelty
Most chicks dig it, day hike, take the hammock+UQ, set up somewhere scenic, chill out, progress from cuddle. I've laid a half dozen via the hammock now.

Still keepin one ear out for trouble heh
>>760745
not me bro
pic related is me
>>760864
What knife is that? Wt2 sheath
>>760864
you look nice anon but that ring on your right hand is really faggy.
>>760950
if by really faggy you mean sentimental, then sure.
>>759613
not him but how do you get stars and campfire in same exposure without the fire blowing out the image? Never tried that sort of shot before
>>763201
Decent DR on the camera, not clipping the highlights in the original exposure, and then pushing the shadows in post
>>762335
+1 gayer than homosex
