R8 my camp, /out/ists.
This is what i looked at at the left side.
Straight ahead.
And the right side.
I made this cup of cocoa/coffee, just how i like it.
This was how it lookedlike behind me.
This was the soup i made, rice, dried vegetables, soy flakes and olive oil.
Oh no, the sun is going down!
I better pack up, the way back is almost 10 clicks. There, nobody knows i was here.
The sun is gone, and so am i.

Nice. I have a very similar setup (which is nothing new because it looks like it's the standard by now). Is that the number 9? What do you use that box for, storing your food?
Looks great anon, just wondering did you stay the night or?
Because don't see any sleeping equipment and such, what beautiful country are you in?
>>757633
liters on that?
>>757615
Wait. What? Does that pad hold your back like a chair?
>>757615
Are you in Germany?
>>757633
That looks like a pretty sweet day pack
I rate it comfy/10 but not really out.
Also info on that pad?
>>757705
Why not /out/. It's doesn't look like his backyard.
>>757658
What do you mean with 9? WHAT?
>>757667
Sadly i had to work today, so no, i didn't stay. Maybe tomorrow. This is Germany, the town is Duisburg and the river is the Rhine, just where it meets the Ruhr.
>>757670
The pack is an Osprey Flap Pack (or so), maybe 20 to 25 liters. I would take a 50l if i had brought the sleeping bag.
>>757677
Yes, bought it recently, it really works man. The mat is a prolite plus medium by Thermarest, the chair is called compack chair 20. The chair is only 200g, so i will bring it even on longer hikes.
>>757682
Sure am in the land of the original masterrace. You jelly?
>>757687
Great quality and comfy, bit not that large. Would buy again/9
>>757702
Guys, i found the edgiest NEET!
>>757705
N-not out? Thermarestprolite plus medium is the pad.
Pic related, my selfmade potstand (aluminium windscreen and two tentpegs).
>>757715
>Sure am in the land of the original masterrace
You are confused, you are not in Rome.
>>757719
I-im not?
>>757715
It's a nice chilling / hang-out setup, but it is not really a camp if you don't stay the night.
Making camp implies setting up to spend one or more nights. It's probably a language thing.
>>757658
Box contains food, condiments and such.
>>757722
Are you from Babylon? Check your webster, mon.
>>757722
Ah, i see. Well, it was a camplet then.
>>757715
So, wondering how sitting in the grass = camping makes me an "edgy NEET"?
Do you know what camping is?
>>757733
Do you?
>pot
overpriced
>opinel
nice
>bandana picnic
o la la
>that chair
can you shit through it?
>osprey

>coffe & cream

>windproof
why not make one out of branches dood
>stove
why not make one outta branches kiddo
does all of that shit really fit in your pack, seems like its got more in it
overal pretty sweet hella comfort
>>757738
You're a faggot. Have fun getting cucked by refugees.
I thought the chair was a grave / tombstone though, until I clicked the image.
Looks comfy though.
>>757751
I suppose that would make it a camp, though, since it is both a structure and implies staying for a long amount of time.
>>757753
>a folding chair
>structure
m8
>>757744
>>pot
>overpriced
40 new Euroshekels for a pot i possibly use for the rest of my life? You poor?
>>bandana picnic
>o la la
Handkerchief is what it is really. Don't own a bandana since i'm not required to, given that i'm german and all.
>>that chair
>can you shit through it?
Nope, not even fart.
>>windproof
>why not make one out of branches dood
>>stove
>why not make one outta branches kiddo
This is one of the densest populated areas in the world. If we all use sticks it will soon look like Somalia in here.
>does all of that shit really fit in your pack, seems like its got more in it
Yes, but not much space left, its a really tiny pack after all.
>overal pretty sweet hella comfort
Right, thats what i thought as well.
>>757750
>That's a handkerchief you pleb
well excuse me princess
>>757756
A grave dummy, not the chair.
>>757764
kek
>>757621
>>757628
I like the contrast between the industrial towers and buildings and the pastoral, green landscape behind you.
>>757633
>10 clicks
Are you in fucking Viet Nam?
>>757750
>That would imply that if a just fix a tent to take a photo I did camp. Your definition doesn't hold. Go complete it.
That is exactly the definition of a camp.
>a place with temporary accommodations of huts, tents, or other structures, typically used by soldiers, refugees, prisoners, or travelers.
>>757774
Fuck Nam, man. Fuck Nam.
>>757774
Maybe one of those african negros that talk with clicks? He is in germany so it wouldn't be that weird
>>757615
>R8
dandelion/10
I spot to make food and hang out isn't a camp. You need to spend at least the night.
>>757633
>nobody knows i was here
Then it never happened. Where's your tribute?
>>757615
Lebensraum/10
What is that about a raspberry project?
>>757851
Obviously the photos.
>>757849
A tent or hut dictates if it is a camp or not. Spending the night isn't required. OP had a picnic.
>>757760
>If we all use sticks it will soon look like Somalia in here
Why not? I mean, you've already got the inhabitants.
Jokes aside, props to you OP for actually going out and posting about it. If you do stay the night, post about it please.
>>757615
Meh, looks like a nice enough afternoon but I wouldn't camp out there - way too close to civilisation, industrial area, roads, etc, for me to want to spend the night /out/
>>757615
That's not a camp, it's a picnic
>>758179
That's not a picnic, it's just soup with coffee.
>>758205
Not even that. Since he didn't go full survival mode, did in fact not drink his own piss, did not build a cabin out of the bones of his prey, and since he did not sleep in a hammock while staying in a tent while wearing a fedora, he wasn't /out/ and should never speak to me or my son again.
>>757615
>Europeans
>>757849
Call it a camp or not, i was /out/ and for a few hours in peace with the world. I also got a bit of excercise for my next big hike.
Spending the night is impossibru due to work. I'll soon have a work off, which i will use for a few nights out.
>>757851
I shat in a geocache. Isn't that enough?
>>757863
Not sure, i didn't read it. I personally have computing needs that need a proper and beefy general purpose computing platform (kde and kernel development mainly). I read ct to stay informed. Also there was a review about terabyte ssd's for only 200 euros. I want one of those!
>>757895
Thanks mate. I will tryto post about my next trip.
>>758034
Look kid, this is one of the densest populated areas on the planet. There is no area without civilisation for 1000 km at least. Its indeed a bad spot to sleep, they will fine you if they think you have any kind of negative impact.
However, there are spots where one can make a small fire and hang out. I personally don't bother about fire, but like to hang out and watch the bats catch moth or just look at the sky.
>>758760
Yeah but that's still not camping.
>>757722
>>757750
>>757849
>>758179
>>759287
>not a camp, thus no camping, if you didn't sleep in it
you idiots
>>759352
camp (noun) a place with temporary accommodations of huts, tents, or other structures, typically used by soldiers, refugees, prisoners, or travelers.
camp (verb) to live for a time in a camp, tent, or camper, as when on vacation.
Unless you mean
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Day_camp
Everyone arguing about the fucking technicality of whether OP is allowed to use the term "camping" is literally autistic.
Go outside.
>>759355
>Unless you mean
OP meant picnic, no other word describes OP's actions even if OP doesn't agree with that. And it's all good. OP got off his ass unlike most of you.
>>757615
What model thermarest is that?
>>757721
