Hello /out/doorsmen, Slovenian camping man here to give you a little update on my adventures. I will post some photos of the small forested hill I explored. It seems to be a common spot for people who want to do a power run since the hill is rather steep, and the surrounding forest is quite magnificent with a good view. It's called Pekrska Gorca and has a mausoleum on the summit. Also should I adopt a "tripcode" to make these threads more regularly? It seems like you guys liked my last threads so I will do explorations as much as possible and post nature. I also bought a knife for about 4 Euros which I will post for the opinions of people whom are experienced with knives. I will start my Camp in the forests as soon as my tent arrives and I wish you all happy, relaxing endavours.
Pic related is the hill. It is close to the large mountain pohorje.
Here is a view from the other side, there is a small household and a vineyard on one side sandwiched between the woods.
These are the forests adjacent to the vineyard, namely the outskirts of Mt.Pohorje. I highly recomment Slovenia for /out/ it is truly a magnificent country.
The path up, near the vineyard household.
This is the view from on top of the hill.
Other angle of the view, this is closer to the section of the city which I currently reside in.
Mausoleum, it was solemn and has some inscriptions on the side where the stone beneath felt hollow indicating a rather large underground structure.
I decided to go back down through the forest. I had my bike but it was too dangerous to pedal down.
There seemed to be an abandoned machine gun bunker near the foot of the hills, well camouflaged in shrubbery, maybe remnants of the former Yugoslav nations?
Closer inside the bunker, it had a chemical musky smell so i didnt go completely inside.
Huge treestump, just seemed to like it.
View from the bottom, lots of greenery. Small river too.
Crossing the river.
View of phorje on the way back.
Thats pretty much it, nice little hike for the day if you ask me. If you guys like I can post a picture of the knife I bought on the way there, I would like an opinion on it. Besides that I will be doing some more exploration today so I'll see what I can bring back.
Oh and i forgot to add, sorry for the blurry large images, I will fix this in the next thread.

>Slovenian
I am thinking of moving from france to some country in east yourope to better enjoy being a single NEEt with a total of 300k euros until I die .
Apparently, slovenia is a nicer croatia, but it may be already a bit late to benefit from the cheap life in slovenia. plus there is no sea in slovenia and I bet that the coast is as expensive as western europe.
I wish that slovenia and croatia would unite, the country would be much nicer than the division that there is today.
What about the language? I hate to speak english and I wonder if it is easy to learn what is talked over there.
>>746632 Crivit is a Lidl brand in the UK, but i don't know if that's just because they are the only ones to import their stuff.
It ain't bad tat, just cheap and cheerful

I think Slovenian is one of the hardest languages to learn in Europe. I suggest that you move to Croatia if you want to be close to the sea, I was in France last week such a shit hole to be honest, full of cucks niggers and arabs. As for the outdoors I think Slovenia has more mountains than Croatia, if that floats your boat.

Exactly brother i got it from Lidl :) god bless that cheap store, it keeps me alive on my tight budget here, got a Sleeping bag for 15 Eur. and a knife for 4. Cheap but durable outdoors equipment.
Ah forgot to say, I went hiking in the foothills on the other side of the Drava river, would you guys like to see the photos? It was closer to the city than Pohorje but still very green and a nice view. I think I will make my first camping experience there, since the Pohorje forests are dark and secluded it would be nice to be somewhere with some open grasslands, makes me feel safe.

Anon here. Would love to see the pics, m7. I myself was forced to buy second tier gear from lidl, aldi and whathaveyou.
Shit was high quality, bit did what it supposed to. Backpack, sleeping bag, ground pad, these don't have to cost much.
Unless you ultralight or effay it. Then you have to drop coin of course.
>>749545
I have to correct myself: shit was't high quality.

Slovenebro, as a generic English dude, how do I get a job in Slovenia? I've been there on and off for 6 years, and it is my favourite place in Europe. Apparently it's hard as fuck to find work in the based Karst region, but is ljubljana hard?
>>750147
Depends on your education. You can find some work in small cities like Sežana or Nova Gorica. Or else try your luck in Italy. Ljubljana is easy: most of the good jobs are there - many people drive there every day (including me).
>>745857
Ayy! You're the Irish dude from Turkey, right?
I take it you able to find some good spots where people don't fuck with you? That area still looks decent. As close as the cities are in Yurop, you have a good chunk of forest right outside that town.
Bump in hopes slovenebro posts more
