Hello, newfriend here. GF and I always talking about becoming more /out/. It'll be a year or so because of babby imminent but in the meantime I'd like to read up on the subject.
What books does /out/ recommend? I saw pic related mentioned in another thread, any good?

Haven't read that one, but his Guide to Nature Observation and Tracking was pretty good.
Also Tawrell'sCamping & Wilderness Survival and Army Survival Field Manuals.
The Barefoot Architect is good for /out/buildings.
And Thoreau, John Muir and Aldo Leopold are good for getting in da mood.
