ITT: We post future parking lots and shopping centers
nah, with western civilization going tits-up in the next 18 months or so I wouldn't worry about much more development for a long while.
More housing developments go up
Named after the things they replace
So welcome to Minnow Brook
and welcome to Shady Space

I'm hoping that you're wrong but part of me knows that were fucked and we deserve what's coming.
This is a future subdivision in a few years. They're going to drain this lake next spring.
I got over 20 acres of Texas brush land right behind my fence, been walking my dogs there for almost 15 years. They already put one data center on it, I know it's only a matter of time before it gets developed or closed off. My dogs go fuckin crazy chasing deer, cats and rabbits. I'll be sad to see it go, but that's life in the city aye
Not near as nice as your spots though. This land used to be a cattle ranch so sometimes you can find cool shit

The big mistake that preppers and apocalyptics make is thinking that collapse happens fast.
>>644484
is this from Pico?
pretty flat already

This.
What is really going to happen is a slowly dwindling population.
The most this planet will ever see is 10 billion humans , after that its a long slow descent to about a few million at best.
We may flare up again but I doubt it.
Word is getting out that being a parent is both unsavory and fully avoidable.
In 100 years it will be considered gross to make another human.

Bullitt county, Kentucky
>>644658
man i gotta start seeing more of "the south." that town looks really fucking pleasant
>>644653
>Word is getting out that being a parent is both unsavory and fully avoidable.
Sure, if you are referring to the 1 out of 10 white people on the planet, but the rest are breeding like rabbits. Somalis etc have about 8 kids each and many of the excess are exported to Europe and North America to enrich us with their beautiful culture
>>644666
That's not true. In the US living conditions have been getting worse for decades and fewer people are breeding. It's only when they go up to a certain level that birth rates decline. One that non white countries never get to due to genetics or culture
> mfw lots of blabbering for an img thread
Otoh, long way to go for full on parking lot here.

Oh have I a challenge?
I think a gas station would look lovely next to that big rock to stay on topic with the thread
>>645008
>>645009
I can do a big rock.
>>644484
Conceptually depressing thread with some nice photos hidden.

This will be a new neighbourhood in about 8 years. I know it's not real nature, nor is it wide, nor is it functional (since the farmer has pretty much retired), but even so I'll miss it.

earthfirst!
Drumheller, AB. They built a shitty town in what should've been protected land. Probably because coal was present and nobody gave a fuck 100 years ago... but still, what a dump.
This one caused more of a shitstorm than I expect from Utah, but the developers' friends in the legislature always find a way. It's on the back burner for now, at least.
>>644549
san antonio?
>>645153
dat is hier in nederland of niet ?
>>645290
Ja, een klein stukje van de Alblasserwaard. Er zijn nog duizenden van deze polders in NL, maar helaas is dit de enige die op de achtertuin aansluit.

Yatir Forest?
Surveyors came and planted all these pink ribbons everywhere. In the field, in the woods. Now I'm just angrily waiting for the bulldozers to show up. >:[
>drive through WV Canaan valley 30 years ago on the way through to another state
>awesome scenery
>drive through it again last year
>suburb-style houses, tons of stores, tons of new development
>mountain tops all have tons more sky shit.
>ugly as shit now
>>645648
>ski shit
fixed
>>645648
Damn that's a shitty and depressing looking ski hill. Why even build all that shit for a 30 second run?
>>645653

>>645164
Eyyyy
>>644485
>writing it with such confidence
>looking like a loon when 18 months go by and nothing happens
average prepper..
I get that you want to prep for possible outcomes, but don't pretend to be some all knowing god that can see into the future
>>645261
Haha yeah how'd you know? You from SA?
>>645647
You know what to do, anon.
Pull up the flags and keep doing it until they leave.
>>647829
duuude funnily enough they started dozing up there just yesterday afternoon! pic related - I took this today as i snuck about in the woods. i gotta get out there at night and see wtf they're digging. i couldn't find any local listings for permits/contruction/developments up there so idunno what it is. there's an unverified rumor that they're putting a solar farm up there which would be fine, I just don't want a gross neighborhood of mcmansions going up there and then having a bunch of shitty afluenza kids ruin my woods :[
No parking lot or shopping center for this one, we're getting a bonified gas pipeline and a compressor station, courtesy of Kinder Morgan.
Southern New Hampshire is not happy about this and 99% of the population is against it. Many of the more southern hick-ish towns have threatening signs about resorting to civil disobedience, in which case I can only wish them luck.
