Which is the best Great Lake and why is it Lake Huron?
State or Province;
Lake you're close to
What's there to do?
Huron, superior, ontario/michigan, erie. in that order
they're all better on the canuck side anyway
I live in niagara on the lake
Lake Ontario is trash but the Niagara river is chill af. This summer me and my friends did a twelve km float to the mouth of the river.
Lake Erie is bretty good if you know the right beaches.
Lake Huron is based though, tobermory is GOAT

I live next to lake ontario on the Canadian side for more than a decade now, it's kinda gross to be honest but it's a lot better now than it used to be.
I used to live in the UP so I'm a bit biased.
Superior>Michigan>Huron>>>>Ontario>Erie
Great slave lake > the minor league lakes.

Superior, says it all in the name.
Biased Minnesotan, but I like superior a lot. I've also lived next to lake michigan in wi and it was nice, no superior though. Killer sunrises.
Pic related, lake superior north
There is a reason Superior is names Superior.
I live in northern MN now but I used to live on the south shore in WI. Tons of shit to do there and high tier fishing everywhere you look.
The lake I live on now is Kabetogama, which is a great big rock bowl filled with water. Islands fucking everywhere to camp on, great smallmouth and pike fishing, quail and grouse all over to hunt, and I can sneak into Canada any time.
I need to get a good canoe and pack up with one of those oldfag canoeists so I can learn how to get to all the connected water. A guy could probably /out/ in the boundary waters his whole life and never be bored.
Also, the hell with moose I hate moose.
Lake St. Clair is obviously the best.

why would you want to sneak into Canada? you can probably buy denim shirts in the US

And you get to hear the gunfire from the city gently waft across the lake as the sun is setting.

You can pretend you're on an African safari.
I'm not sure how much claim to "great Lakes "any other state/province can really make. Also: fuck ontario.

I would say Superior, Huron, Michigan, Ontario, Erie. I live half a mile from Lake Ontario, kayak a lot and sail when I can, also spent summers as a kid at my aunt's cottage on Georgian Bay.
Was a bit windy and wavy today, the kitefaggots and surfers were out.
