>>491214
I wouldn't but the point was the trespassers can be shot in USA.
>>491183
There is usually a part of the fence that is easier to climb.
>>491216
>easier to climb
>gate right there

> if bait 6/10
>if not 1/10

Those things are cunts, I had to climb one once for reasons and chucked a coat on top of it which was the end of that fine garment, and got my lace stuck on a spiky bit on the way down so when i jumped off I flipped and landed hard on my back and somehow fucked my knee up too. I have no idea how, I can't remember much - adrenaline was going nuts on my ass.
Short version don't bother unless you have a couple layers of carpet or are willing to risk getting impaled pretty bad or falling on your face.
>>491215
Well that sucks but thats life in the land of the free.
>>492262
I remember when I was in school I heard about a kid a few years old lose a testicle to one of those fences.
I'm not actually joking or trolling either, he genuinely did.

DON'T YOU HATE IT WHEN YOU GET STUCK ON A FENCE
YES
IT CAN BE A REAL
>PAIN IN THE ARSE
My dad slipped while climbing a regular spiked fence when I was a kid - ended up with like 50 stitches or something like that in a big Y shape. Bad news. Imagine if it had been one of those nasty fuckers in teh OP.

Pic related is relevant to the thread - that wall is 8ft easily. How do you cross it? Walk left 'til it ends, then walk around it.

exploring basements is the most fun imho
heck we been there 4-5 times already, many hours each time, and we STILL don't have the place figured out completely (let alone mapped or something)
>>494143
finding creepy shit
>>494145
even creepier - someone lives there
this is pitch black btw, we were lucky with the lighting from our flashlights
>>494147
diesel tanks, because thats what you need in the basement of a train station
>>494149
now if this aint give you nightmares

some of these canisters weren't empty

REMINDER THAT GOING THOSE PLACES CAN BE DANGEROUS.
Srsly.
If you don't know why after looking at this image you are too young to be on the internet.
>>494155
weird people go there
>>494157
we into exploring underground tunnels now
>>494158
or roofs.
Eh, thats enough for now, captcha and post delay make this too hard.
Got any specific questions, ask, I'll be around for a few hours I guess.
>>494161
How do you check the integrity of the floor? Do you poke with a stick before puting your weight there? My biggest fear about exploring those places is having the floor bellow me collapse.
>>494164
depends.
With the concrete, a few stomps confirmed it for "yea, probably safe".
On that roof I climbed the ladder shifting my weight very slowly and/or banging the planks with my fist a few time before stepping onto it. It helps that I am probably only about 70kg with all my gear on.
What I worry about most is actually the ceiling in those tunnels/basements, because if I fall through the floor, I'm either lucky (and I am a lucky sob) or I break my legs or something, big deal, comrade Josev can drag me out. But if the ceiling caves in, bam, rocks to the head, goodnight. We thought getting Stahlhelms (lol /k/ommandos), but again, if the ceiling caves in in those drainpipes or whatever that is, it's probably over anyway. Ave nex alea.
>>494157
Hahahaha, polska kurwa.
>>494197
Blyad, cyka.
They, maybe. Us, not so much.
>>491183
Most palisade fences are riveted rather than welded, so all you need to do is force two slats at the bottom until they pop off then spread apart and your through. The benefit is it's not easily noticeable unless the fence is checked.
Just don't get caught in the act as in the UK you are likely to be charged with breaking and entering. Also stash the tools you use to pry the fence near by rather than on your person. That way if you are caught then you can't be done for going equipped.
Man up, people

yea, no. I don't really fancy the idea of dying to tetanus/ infected cuts /...
also how is this thread still alive.
>>498456
I guess we have a lot of hobos.
Disinfection is very effective to prevent tetanus, but the vaccine have no effect.
>>498469
>but the vaccine have no effect.
Do you know how I can tell that you are from the US?
>>491183
I think im ready to start doing some urban ex, Ive found out about old nike missile bases near me. Since they are on state property and near houses Ive given thought to getting a police scanner.
This is the cheapest and first thing that came up, thoughts on this model and using a police scanner?
>>491215
>tresspassers can be shot in USA
uh, not exactly. That statement is either an intentionally gross misrepresentation or flat out ignorance of US law
you'd have to be INSIDE someones home while it's occupied by the owner to open youself to lethal force being used.
that or commiting some other type of egregious felony
>>499290
why dont you find out why frequency and mode the local authorities use before you buy equipment.
also, listening to a police scanner for reports that they're coming to get you will make you miss the sound of the 30 year old rotted floor board you just put your weight on starting to give way.
youd do better just to learn to stop and listen to your surroundings and work on your situational awareness
I do a bit of rural exp, because we have a shit ton of abandoned houses after 2008 and the city doesn't really have a lot of cool old buildings.
Unless you've got a bit of old carpet handy, those things are a bitch to climb.
The way I do it:
>give urbexbro a boost so he can get over the top
>bro looks around for a ladder or something else to climb
>throws thing over the top, I climb over and pull whatever it is over the top with me
>you are now inside and have an exit
Depending on where you are, you can find some shit that makes climbing fences a joke, we found found a length of rope that we just threw over the top.
