We are at a lake house at Lake Lanier and we were making a campfire at a fire pit at a house we rented. While we were making the fire, and making smores, a nigger comes to us and tells us that the "land belongs to the water" and that he can call the cops on us and give a 750$ fine and was being a super sperg. Can he do that if we are making a fire in a firepit recreationally? please help. We are at Lake Lanier.

You can't make fires on the shore of banks of many large bodies of water because it is against the law. The reason for this is erosion. If isn't banning fires specifically, it is banning any activity that disturbs the land.
Your best course of action is to call the person/company you rented the house from and ask them. This is because the islands in LL and privatized now and some have different "rules" from each other. Some of them have campsites for you, some allow alcohol, and some don't.
FYI, that guy is also an asshole.
