Thoughts on the best all-around ABC watches at reasonable prices?

Dont know about ABC watches but I did buy ths twin sensor Casio some two years ago. Has a compass and a thermometer, mineral glass, 200m WR. pretty solid for $50.
I wouldnt consider getting a watch with a barometer/altimeter because the sensor can be sensitive to dust and water, plus the max WR on most ABC casios is 100m and I go diving often

Don't be cheap. Get a Protrek. It will save your life. Pic is not so expensive with triple sensor.
Protrek without solar charge costs around only $60 with full triple sensor.
How do you guys rate the Suuntos? I was given one as a gift and it's been rock solid so far but I've rarely used the Altimiter except on the odd trek and the Barometer even less.

The watch is nice but why the nato strap? They look fucking disgusting on sporty watches.

Because I personally find them extremely functional and more comfortable than others.
No compass but the altimeter is pretty accurate and it can be found online for $35.

The Suunto Vector is what you want
I have a Casio Pathfinder and a Suunto Core. I almost never use the features and just use it to tell time.
does anyone know of any watches designed to operate below around -30 C or lower?

keep in mind as long as it stays on your wrist, it's gonna stay at least above freezing. if it isn't, you have bigger problems

I have been lusting over the PRW 7000 for a couple months now. Gonna buy it soon desu

No you.
What uses does the barometer serve?

It can tell you if air pressure is dropping or rising and heuristically figure out if the weather is going to shit or improving.
Can be useful to have an early warning of "about ot be drenched in water" sometimes.
Don't have one of these but have read a lot and mildly interested. Casio seems like the go-to thing.
I don't need GPS but compass + solar + barometer would be nice. And why not the damn temperature, too.
