Going on a trek for a week.
Rate my gear, suggestions are welcome.
tu feras attention les bougnoules adorent les Frosties
no way that's enough food.

OP is not going into the wilderness, he can buy food along the way
>>1079589
I will buy some on the road when I pass towns.

Actually 4 days with a waypoint at 2 days to refill water and eventually food. Gonna grab some fresh banana just before departure.
Don't underestimate the amount of water you need. I like to carry at least 3 liters in my pack while hiking, but I'm real thirsty all the time (I drink like 3 liters a day, guess I just like water). So anyway, if you find yourself far away from clean water, it's a blessing to have plenty with you. Learned my lesson the hard way, 2 hour hike turned into a 10-hour slog through swamps, no drinkable water, so muscle fatigue set in real hard.

Il manque des sacs poubelle;

Also a frienfly reminder: you can buy lots of gear fro aliexpress for a fraction of local cost. I wouldn't advise on buying clothes, filters and other really 'survival' stuff there. But firesteels, ponchos, compasses, eggshell mattresses, molle pouches, wood stoves are all great.

I have the same sleeping bag mon négro...
Its temperature specs are WAY overrated IMO.
Where do you go? I feel you should either have a bigger one or be prepared to have several clothes layers for sleeping.
Also, obviously not enough food.
>>1079712
Temps on them bags are way off, sure. I don't own a decent bag so I just use 2 shitty ones, one zipped and the other like a blanket. Works well into -10 celsius. gotta be wearing 'faggies' tho (warm underwear from conscription times, makes you look like Robin Hood).

>roasties
you should pop up on fishing general
>arpenaz 0
where are you going? pray to not rain
>>1079736
It will rain rxactly at the end of the pedestrian trip. Then I wait one day in a big cities and buy an inflatable boat.
>>1079712
Yes. Wearing mountain socks, sweaters and other layers of clothes when I sleep.
>>1079736
I wish I could go fishing too, but just one fish for one meal. I don't really have the time to stop if I want to maintain the 20km/day rythm. And fishing gear is heavy.
>>1079656
Really? I am considering purchasing a few things from Aliexpress. It's a lot cheaper! Although I wouldn't purchase anything that I will eat, drink from or with.

Checked
is a trek a hike? also is there a word for going into a forest and "hiking" with no specific trial just wandering wherever? also is doing overnight hikes treated differently to wild camping? (UK)
>>1080045
It's been a while since I've got quads.
>>1079647
Nein, ist es nicht.
>>1079726
> leggins
Thats ok, we all use them, mostly because they keep the sleeping bag clean.
>>1080081
It's called exploring, cowboy.
>>1079581
Had the same amount of gear on my last hike, except the white bag you got there was filled with food, and there was wine instead of water in one bottle. Lasted two weeks in remote alpine area, then it started to snow and I went home throwing away the remainings of food enough for 10 days at least.

do you think you just need to eat what you eat on a normal day sat infront of a monitor?
>>1079581
Get an actual tent

Come on OP, don't lie to us.

OP coming back here
The arpenaz 0 tent was not really useful. Even if I didn't need shelter because it was always warm and not really windy, I regret not having something to protect me frmo ants and mosquitoes.
Disinfectant and hand sanitizer could have been in smaller container and insect repellent would have been useless with a full tent.
Just enough water considered I could refill in each passing tow (almost everyday).
Solar panel and battery were total shit. The vendor said it would last several iphone charges but when the indicator led said full I only got like 1% of charge.
Too much clothes in the white bag. No blister medecine.
>>1079656
Does anyone have experience with Hewolf brand of camping supplies? Thinking of getting one of their larger backpacks.
>>1079581
I have that teapot. Cant fig how to keep the lid on w.out taping or tying it
>>1084581
was it your first time charging it? dont you have to like pre charge the battery a bit first or something
>>1079581
where's your hatchet dude?
>>1085667
A machette would have been useful to cut trhough brambles.
>>1085667
Why the fuck would you carry a hatchet on a trek?
>>1085826
are you asking why people carry hatchets, sir?
>>1086167
Not in general, no. But why anyone would carry one on a trek, where the main objective is hiking, yes. That is beyond me.
>>1086172
Because they are light enough to carry and can make a world of difference in a shitty unforseen situation. nobody going on a week trek into the woods should ever not have a good edged tool.
>>1084601
It's chinkshit, so it is.
>>1086245
He did not go in some big forest,he was often in/near the civilization.
