Does anyone here know much about botany or some shit?
I had a bonsai and it got blown over by strong wind, being completely uprooted. Im wondering if it will survive being re potted.
Also, how would i go about breeding the tree? Do i like just plant a root of it or something? It doesnt have any seeds. I really don't know anything about plant reproduction.
I have a buddha belly fig if that helps. (Pic related, but isn't my tree)
I don't know if it will survive being repotted, but I can guarantee it won't survive outside of a pot.
If you want another plant, then the fastest way will probably be to get a cutting, look for a shoot like in pic related and cut it off with a very sharp knife and dip it in rooting formula and plant it in a sterile growing medium.
I would strongly recommend researching or at least watching a youtube video on how to do tree clones, as there's only so much knowledge you're going to glean out of a vietnamese silk weaving forum.

Thankyou for your help.
Which shoot do you mean?
Figs are a pain to breed, needing very specific conditions to produce fruit, and as a result seeds.
As for reporting, it should be fine. I use a nutrient rich, low nitrogen soil with a root retardant in it for my bonsai.
If you are in the northern hemisphere now is not a bad time to replant anyway, as your tree is in growth mode. Get it settled in damp soil and keep it slightly damp to touch for the next month and it should recover
