What does /out/ think about these things? Are fairy doors an authentic innawoods aesthetic or just obtrusive suburban kitsch?
Looks like a trace to me.
Worse than fucking cairns

If I see one, Imma fuck it up
>>1070561
Don't mess with little people. They'll fuck you up.
Something I would lay by if I was tripping for sure
>>1070617
Come on anon. Ever been innawoods with small kids? They love this shit. If it gets them interested into going /out in later life the better.
It's a useful gateway drug to "hey let's see what else we can find ... did you see that bird/moose/whatever".
So no bully the little things please anons.

A well-done fairy door takes a lot more skill and planning/commitment than just stacking a bunch of rocks into a cairn does, though. I say that if someone goes to the trouble of crafting a pretty door and placing it in a sensible spot, we should respect their effort.

into the trash you go OP

I agree with this anon, I grew up in alaska so outdoor opportunities were more than ample but I had an affinity for these things. I remember building them with what kid-me called witches beard (anybody know what I'm talking about?)
I think theyre ok on private property or real close to the urban interface, so long as therearent just dozens of them blatantly and ridiculously placed everywhere. Keep em outta the true wilderness.
>>1071439
This. They're fine in your yard or an urban park, but that's about it
>>1070561
cute. CUTE
>>1070561
I don't mind them, it's either that or some asshole stuffs his trash in that hole.
>>1070561
Tacky as fuck. Might as well put one of those stars on your house, screw a face on your tree, and have a tire garden.
>>1072156
>doesn't like barn stars
Opinion discarded.
>>1072165
I don't like Wal-Mart decorations kek

>witches beard
Old man's beard? A lichen that grows on trees?
>>1072172
ding ding ding yessir
i liek to rub my penis on those
kawaii
Are these an actual thing that people make for decoration or are people in this thread overreacting over how bad it is? I've never seen any such "door".
>>1070897
Well that changes everything.
Next time I see one, I'll throw paint on it. Maybe it will introduce kids to modern art.
>>1072378
Maybe it will.
Or maybe it will simply cement your status as a spastic retard.
Now, drop the Quarter Pounder, shut down the Command Center, climb out of the basement and go out for a walk or something.
the /out/ equivalent of tacky-ass lawn gnomes

Not on fucking public land, imma smash one if I see it on public land.
