Can anyone here tell me what kinda Shrooms these are and if they are edible? I found them growing on an old log in the High Uintas of Utah.

Obligatory if you don't know EXACTLY what it is don't eat it.

That said, as an amateur mushroom hunter I can tell you that most 'gilled' mushrooms are super hard to tell apart and I've never seen an edible mushroom look like that.

Short answer, no.

Thank you. I didn't even pic them. I just took a few pics and decided to research them. They are growing a short hike from where I'm camped and I was just curious about them.

Could be Kuehneromyces mutabilis which would be delicious, or then Galerina marginata which is highly poisonous. Only one way to find out!
