Is this true?
Absolutely. Foggy hikes are god tier
Yes.
I'm very gracious for what the sun does for us, so no.
i don't know
Sometimes on sunny days I like to close my eyes and turn my face up towards it. The warmth feels good on my cheeks. But other then that overcast is best weather.
Bright, sunny days are the best for everything.
what are hats good for?
I hate living in Arizona for this exact reason.
It's only true if you live in sub-Saharan USA. Most other countries have decent clothing that lets you cool properly.

i hate the sun but tolerate it as life wouldn't be possible on earth without it.

Sun isn't comfy.

Also your link doesn't work, you stupid fucking mongrel.

Yes, except fog is spoopy.
>tfw 300+ days of full sun
>tfw it rains, it's a biblical flood that sweeps cars out to sea snd shit
>tfw it's not sunny, it's dark and gloomy
>>1066536
one of the guys i work with is a reptilian too. when we all get sweaty and can't breathe and try to open a window or start the ac he immediately starts bitching about we trying to kill him. and that it's not warm and he is cold. i'm like what nigger 30C is cold for you?
my ideal conditions:
>clear sky
>65-70°
>3-5 mph breeze
>>1066573
Texas by any chance? I spent two yrs in Spring branch, it only rained like 3 times total. It was mind fucking me, cause I'm originally from WA.
>>1066468
I have a pretty open mind to this kind of stuff but it's hard not to laugh at PHD in results.
Yes, I live I a country where it makes 35° celcius during summer and doing activities besides going to the beach is impossible
>>1066880
>35°
I'm gonna convert to paganism and pray to the Aesir to plunge the world into another ice age. Humanity hasn't sinned enough to deserve those temperatures.
>>1066131
>tfw north Germany
>>1066880
>35°c
what sally country do you live in that that temp is a big deal? i was in la a couple weeks ago and went on a 9 mile, 3300' hike and it was 101°f (38°c) at the trailhead. and the western sierra spend basically the whole summer in the mid 90s. never stops me from hiking and climbing there.
>>1066862
>tfw move from Ft. Huachuca, AZ to Ft. Lewis, WA
>tfw going from never seeing anybody non-military wear long pants EVER to not seeing the sun EVER
Was in the Lewis area 3 years and had a fully-sunny day 9 times.. Very confusing for a young boy.

And I live in a place where it routinely hits 41*C (106-107*F) 30-40 days out of the year and stays over 35*C (95*F) 90+ days per year and is over 60% humidity 365 days per year.
You learn to deal with it.
>>1066904
>western Sierras
>0-10% humidity
Come to the midwest where it's 90%+ humidity and 100*F+ temperature from May to October.
I just got back from a trade convention in Wyoming. It hit 101. The locals were practically melting, everyone was bitching about the heat, the old californian couple that always has the table next to mine were bitching about the humidity. 25% humidity. It felt like 80* where I was from in Missouri due to our insanely high humidity due to being at the confluence of like 17 thousand rivers.
>>1066937
i lived in texas for 3 years. i know what 110° and 90% humidity feels like. and if you'd actually read my post instead of just getting triggered by the fact that i live someplace better than you, you'd have seen that my whole point is that temps in the mid 90s are nothing and >>1066880 needs to quit being a bitch

It's not rare for people to get depressed here. It's always dark and gloomy and the liberal fucks are here too.
I live like 20 mins from Fort Lewis. Always mad jelly when I take the back roads around base, I see all that beautiful land they got fenced off.
If trespassing was not a big issue with them, I'd so be tempted to jump the fence and wild camp. I'm a /k/ommando, so i don't want to lose my guns, or get anally raped in federal prison.
>not accepting snow is the most comfy
>>1067005
I like snow. If there is enough when I go out, I like to build snowmen around my camp site. I get drunk and talk to them.
>>1067006
I do this except I make them all hunky and masculine and with dicks and I get drunk and pee on them and they dissolve into yellow ice humps
>>1066468
You are a fucking retard, come to Australia in summer where being in the sun for more than 10 minutes can lead to serious burns
>>1067005

My best memory of last year was going showshoeing and taking a thermos of hot tea with me. I was standing in the middle of the quiet comfy woods in New England and drinking from this mug of still hot tea watching a light snow accumulate while taking a break for a few minutes.
I don't think I'll ever achieve those levels of comfy ever again, bros
I don't mind the Sun sometimes
