Seal line 115L dry bag backpack

I'm figuring I'd use it for shit weather camping, general travel, and some normal overnighters/multi-day trips. I don't paddle but there are a few lakes with beautiful islands I swim to but can't get my gear to.

is 115L comically large? I reckon I'd be able to fit all my gear including small axe.
currently on sale for $120 at my local gander mtn.

that pack is meant for hauling dead deer and other awkward loads, hence the drybag

get a dedicated hiking pack (Osprey, Deuter, Gregory, etc) of 75 or less - 115 is enough potential for weight you'll hate your life if you pack it to the max
>>
>>1063224
I feel like it's more of a pack for portaging or floating a river...
>>
>>1063224
I've got a 40L overnight pack and a multi-day external frame pack already. I don't intend to pack it all the way but the size would be helpful for longer items like a 28" axe handle.
>>1063226
is right
>>
Maybe get the 70 liter? Or one of those inflatable kiddy boats for your gear?
>>
>>1063219
Dude I am so goddamn glad you are considering buying suck a god tier pack. Fuck I didnt even read your post.

I do hardcore survivalism and I use a custom set up thats very similar. If youre looking for something that will solve all your problems and you like doing crazy shit then this is fucking ideal.
>>
>>1063242
Such, not suck.
>>1063240
Its a drybag man you can roll it up

>>1063219
There is virtually nothing that this pack can't be used for. Ignore the babies with weak backs, if you even so much as considered this pack it's highly likely that you're a grown ass man and not the children on this website. Goodluck with whatever you intend to use it for.

Personally, I've used very similar setups for kayaking the source to sea on the missippi river, along with many numerous multi month outdoor adventures into deep no trail no road wilderness. I also used my setup for the PCT and the AT.

This pack is objectively better than what I created. I used a external framed deer hauled and fixed a 110L dry bag to it.

Hauler*

OP here, scooped up the last one today and it's fucking big. Straps are comfy, back plate is semi rigid which is nice, and it feels indestructible

God bless you and the amazing journeys this will take you on sir

There's just no reason to carry that much shit, ever
>>
>>1064406
I agree, but I got a bombproof bag for sale and it will carry everything I need. If they had a smaller size I would've gotten the 70L but it didn't have the nice hip belt. It's not great for hiking but I'm going to use it for island camping and shit weather
>>
>>1064412
My bag for the John Muir Trail and the AT was only 65L

lol
>>
>>1064183
Get a quality pack, what the fuck does it matter if the company ordering the shit from China is from USA or not?
>>
>>1063224
why would you put a dead deer in a drybag where blood can't escape and will just gather up in the bottom of the bag?

sounds like a nasty way of doing it if you ask me

With a 50lb weight
>>
>>1064581
Exactly. Pussies here will never grasp the glory of a dry bag pack. 115L capacity, yeah. But you roll it the fuck down to your load. Looks like you've rolled it down to 45L.
>>
>>1064767
Listen to this guy. Just bring patches for it. They get soft in the sun
>>
>>1064815
Just bring duct tape. Also no they don't get soft.
