I wear these while jerking it

Why in a tackle box? Fish hooks will go right through kevlar.
>>

kevlar isn't stab proof lol why do these exist
>>
I cut my bait with shears (scissors), so no

>(scissors)
I had no idea that these two words meant the same thing. Thanks for clarifying that, anon. I feel like I've learned something new today. I'm gonna go out and solve one of the worlds many problems today. I feel like a new man.

>Kevlar gloves
Sounds like a good thing for climbing or general wild fuckery.

They don't, in scissor-related jargon, actually.

Shears have a small, dull-ish serration on one cutting edge that gives them a bite to the cut.

I have an old pair of kitchen shears from the 50s - used for cutting meat before everything was heavily processed.

The serrated bite is necessary when cutting anything smooth and durable, as scissors would push off before they would cut.

Braided fishing line us probably today's #1 use of shears in the outdoors.

Other guy probably wrote "(scissors)" to clarify that he wasn't talking about in-line shears.

Duh.
