>>1058942

>>1058942
Grilled salmon if stationary at some cottage.
Curry cod with potatoes (Real Turmat) if moving.
Cashew and raisins for snacks.
>>1058942
Summer sausage with cheddar cheese is an excellent snack. Beef stroganoff is an excellent dinner (usually dehydrated).
>>1058986
if it weren't for all the nitrates/ites and risk of offal-induced gout, summer sossie would be the perfect food
Dried fruits and wild boar sausage
Beef jerky and hardtack. Any other food is consumerist shit and not necessary.

No be disappoint.
This anon dislikes peanuts, prefers cashews instead.
> inb4 funny acronyme
mfw can't think of any
>>1059081
Cashews are def better than peanuts. I eat GORP because it's cheap and nutritionally complete-ish. Sugar/fat/protein, all in one handy snack. Præfect for wandering innawoods or onnatrail.
I usually make a large batch of breakfast pasta and snack on it for up to two days instead of having actual meals.

>>1059161
funnily enough it's a fairly common dish in Zürich, Zürich

Looks like I've been minus a couple ingredients; I'll have to add granola and oatmeal next time I go /out/, see what I've been missing.

cod liver, peanut butter, and IMP (canadian mres)

At least when I go /out/ I don't have to constantly think about it
Les Stroud demonstrated that you can start a fire easily with corn chips. They retain fatty oils pretty well and burn just like a candle. Great for starting fires and high calorie to keep you sustained outdoors. Now thats what I call a super food!
For real though, GORP master race.
Anyone I can find
>>1058942

Oh, are you from South America? If not , how do you get your Yerba ? Everytime I travelled to the us with my family we always were selected by the tsa to get additional security checks. They always thought we were importing weed lol
>>1062131
Not that anon, but I get my yerba at my local tea purveyor. He didn't use to carry it, but ever since it's gotten more popular he's started carrying it. I'm sure you can also get it off the internet
Chili Mac MRE's.
Taos bars
>>1058942
Some high quality salami. I pushed myself for an extra mile after hunger sat in. I ate some, and I was seriously higher than fuck off food for about 15 minutes.
>>1058942
French onion soup topped with grated Gruyere cheese, baguette.
Steak Chateubriand and a burgandy sauce, greens & tomatoes.
Blueberry Clafoutis (or Cherries Jubilee if I can get a decent bottle of brandy!)
Pouring hot water in an oatmeal pouch, beef jerky, Ritz and spam
>>1059500
go for the chocolate ones
hotdogs + noodles
>easy to cook
>compact
>cheap
Snack - muesli/nut bars, full of sugar and a bit of protein
Food - Rice a Riso, pure carbs but filling, tried adding corned beef but overpowered the flavour
>>1062585
>>1062650
I haven't touched a hot dog in over 10 years.
I just bring a tub of muscle powder, and boil any bark/stcks on the ground until they're soft
pic unrelated
>>1062666
That's fair enough devilman, but it's good food /out/ and combined with the caloric power of pasta you can't go wrong!
>>1062670
Hot dogs are what you feed children you know will never amount to anything.

I've been mixing a couple servings of the cheapest granola oats I can find with a couple servings of nuts. It's pretty filling and lasts a day trip if I eat lightly.
I'll usually carry rice and oatmeal for food, dried fruit/leather, jerky and peanuts for snacking.
Warm apple cider is also super comfy/
