1 ferro rod set
300-yard roll of nylon mono + 25 assorted hooks

* the PROVIDED equipment (doesn't count towards "10")
already includes a 20×20 canvas tarp, separate from
a 10×10 poly tarp "for protecting camera equipment"

The strategy is to pick how you sleep and what to hunt, and so on, then choose minimal gear.

Tarp
Sleeping bag

Should suffice for sleep and shelter, forage the rest and build a laavu like structure or something. Some paracord to tie up things.

A hunting knife only, no hatchet/saw needed.

non american here

do people actually believe or is the this understanding how stuff works ? it seems like some fake news or trolling. or is it just a bisas, filter bubble of the lefties, democrats or liberals? ( if i understand the US meaning of the words, as here the labels are different political groups).

the truth is not black and white, but calling trump a failed businessman is really strange, he failed in some stuff but also succeeded in most his ventures ( ~ 600 profitable ones vs ~6 failures) he also became on of the 500th richest man world wide.

or this >>1061659 do people believe the wealthy are just a uniform club or group? where profitable deals just floating around and no one wanted to take them before trump? an then he was the best choice to give your insider benefits to ? no investor was able to see or take these opportunities on the market ? this is a really strange world view.

additionally there is stuff that is factually wrong and easy to look up like
>Trump inherited hundreds of millions of dollars
(His father's estate, valued at more than $20 million, was divided in 1999 just google it )
so is this bias or trolling or the left narrative ? trump offers lots of things to attack him with why do people use these wired "the man kept every one but him down" or " he got "hundreds of millions" or "failed in business"

also take this retarded shit to >>>/pol/

forbes did some digging but placed him at 3,5b in net worth...
they actually have a pretty nice page for that.

forbes list has trump at place #544
>https://www.forbes.com/billionaires/list/13/#version:static

he might jump up or down with a good or bad stock year. because of how the list is made a tiny jump from 3,5 to 3,8 is a lot of ranks as there are 74 people tied at these 3 value increments on the forbes scale.
for example 2015 has him at #405. Donald Trump Net Worth: $4.1 B

good plan, why the shovel though ? what would need digging in a amount for you could not do with the stick method ? or is the idea to have a multi tool shovel like the chinese meme shovel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b60OZhrTB6o
>>
>>1062675
>if anyone could proof he has negative net worth
nobody said that, what has been said is he has a lot less in net worth than he claims or even previously people believed. he may have over 1 billion (on paper because most of it is tied in unsellable prestige buildings) it is not a sure thing tho. and he inherited a lot. if you compare his net worth change to even the gains he could have on vanguard or some other index he is less than impressive as a businessman. he is a joke compared to monsters like warren buffet.
>>
>>1062678
but once again it's just stories with no proof or wishful thinking to make him look bad.

hell even the bias laden politicsfacts, com has the inheritance at 20 mil in 1999 when his father died ( total inheritance was bigger but is was shared between 4 siblings). Though he did get a part of his father's real estate company earlier that was valued at 40 mil.

even if you pretend he got far more with 100 million in liquid assets (not buildings etc) and let it rest 30 years at 12% a year gain, you only get 3 billion. so he did better than a passive index fund. as he net worth is 3.5b

why is it so hard to accept that without the use of heavy gymnastics he does not look bad. without saying stuff a skyscrapers/hotels in new york is unsellable... and yet he would have done better if he had sold those unsellable buildings and invested in vanguard???

its fine to hate trump, plenty of things that are true, and terrible. but why pretend and make him extra bad with fairy tales and make your opposition/criticism less credible.
>>
>>1062692
>it's just stories
no these are pretty much news from last year the internet is full of them. i'm not going to google it for you if you can't. trumps net worth is around 1b at best. this is an optimistic look at his fortune. he has around 350m at the very least so he is not exactly poor.
>>
>>1062696
>>1061982
why do you hate facts ?
>>
>>1062700
i don't hate facts i hate liars.
for example:
>According to Trump, his real estate licensing deals, intellectual property, brands and branded development are worth more than $3.3 billion; however, Forbes pegs this number at around $253 million.

so trump comes and claims 3.3b and it turns out actually only 250m. that's how he operates that's how he makes business and that's why he is a fucking liar. don't fall for his bullshit. he is only a billionaire if he can cash out from his real estate the way he thinks he can. which is not evident to me or anyone else.

it's on vancouver fucking island in late fall right before winter.

it's extremely humid almost every other day rains and it's cold. even people with proper shelter gave up and quit because the humidity fucked up their shit. the only place you can stay relatively dry and mold free (it will eat all of your organic shit and fuck up your lungs) if you stay on the beach out of the woods. now the thing is aside from not having trees there to hang your hammock is it's very windy and even colder.

so no forget the hammock if you want to live. it's okay for temperate woodlands in the summer and maybe you can do spring and autumn too, but not in an arboreal rainforest.

Hammocks thrive in Arboreal rainforest's and jungles my man. You are dry off the ground, can be warm well below 0 degrees with an underquilt, and there is plenty of ventilation. Most people are getting their shit fucked up because they are not using the proper equipment. You should do a bit more reading on how versatile hammocks are as a shelter, and a complete system at that when you throw in a Tarp.
>>
>>1065285
>You are dry off the ground
no you are not you will be drenched like a mop from the humidity in the air
>>
>>1065298
the only way that worked out for any contestant is to stay near the shore and have fire in your shelter or at the entrance of the shelter which must be half open for better ventilation but also protected from the wind.

no fire you are fucked, no ventilation you are fucked, in the woods you are fucked, no wind protection you are fucked (wind is often strong enough to demolish tarp jurts in the open).

your hammock would get you killed there go ahead it's a free country camp out before winter for a few weeks there see how it is!

>Building a fire is a waste of calories
>A sleeping bag and decent shelter will be warm enough
did you even watch the first season? there was a guy who thought this, what he got is mold on every fucking thing mold all over his sleeping bag and on his pubes. he had to tap out because without fire and ventilation he couldn't deal with the mold.

He made a shitty shelter without airflow. Of course there was mold. All the water could not evaporate.

Idk where the fuck you anons are using these damn ground tarps but ive used one 4 times. Twice woke up with a rat in my shit (once on my neck) and another time had a skunk inside with me, crawled right under the parameter. Say what you will about a good old fashion tent but the barrier on the bottom does a decent job.

I have a lot of friends who live in the wild not too far from here, off-grid.. Sleep and live with much less than anyone here has often.. I've done so myself for months on end.

Not uncommon for real people who live here.

Mold here, lol...
Just wash your clothing and bag once a week..
Theres no avoiding it sometimes, just beat it back.
HAHA.

Norm, he got it in his lungs.
RIP.

well airflow and insulation are pretty much against each other. if you don't want to freeze you need airflow and heating or no airflow.

you can't have airflow and no heating and no freezing working in those extremely humid conditions.

so again go there try it come back and tell us better yet post vids on youtube.

Can 2 person fit in a camping tent with sleeping bags?

Me; 150lbs, 5'9''
SO; 120lbs 5'4''

Why bother? A tent with a fly keeps animals and sideways rain out so you can fuck a wet Chinese sideways vagina in relative comfort.

Or you can just bend her over a log.
