I work on a ski resort on Mt Hood.
Favorite hike in the columbia gorge: Munroe point. Its 3 knifeback that converge on a single point. Hike is a little taxing, but very worth it. I also like Augspurger Mtn as a 2 day hike in the spring.
Favorite hike in Oregon: Rocky Top. Out in the santiam pass and 40 minutes up a secluded dirt road is my favorite camping spot and view in Oregon. The actually hike is to a knifelike ridge that juts out a few hundred feet from the top of the mountain. I like it so much because its so quiet. Cant hear birds, insects, or the road.
I want to do the Steenz later this year, have any anons been down there? Is it worth a multiday?

I did Munra yesterday, that was fuckin wew lad. By the time I got to the chimney I was pretty tired, but I had a ton of fun.
Is there a name for that kind of hike? Rocks and things you have to climb hand and feet on, but nothing vertical or dangerous like technical climbing.
