I think they can't bite through panty hose either. Just wear some hose while out and you'll be fine.

i think they bury their head in your skin, which is why they are hard to get them off, if you pull them off and leave the head in you can get an infection

so I doubt they would "bite" through any clothing

Dairyfarmerfag here, if they can bite through cow skin then they can sure as fuck bite through your socks with enough effort, the only reason they dont is because theres easiers parts of you to bite.

Also, cattle ticks are only very slightly bigger then normal ticks, and dont have as much hold.
