About the tapping out, Joe explained he'd stand no chance against others with firesteels while he'd have to use bow drill to make a fire. Think of it this way: on Youtube he shows himself camping for up to a week with no problems and people think he's some amazing survivalist, but the thing is, he camps in perfect conditions.
