Can anyone recommend a technical vest that includes a full backpack? One that's actually available to buy? The closest thing I can find to what I want is the Fishpond Wildhorse but I'm looking for something to use specifically as a hiking pack. One Wildhorse review says it doesn't distribute weight well with a full load in the pack which is making me wary of purchasing it. Also I can't find a single pic of someone wearing one and I'm afraid it only comes down to the bottom of your rib age; I want a full vest that comes closer to my waist. Maybe a William Joseph Exodus? They seem hard to find though. Milsurp is fine but if something is too "tactical" I might be afraid to wear it innawoods. I like the idea of a tech pack because there are some things I want accessible from the front of the pack and I'd like my gear to be in one pack whose weight is distributed over my torso and not just my back.
tl;dr I want to one bag it using a load bearing vest/pack combo. What buy?

Good packs take the weight and distribute it to your hips.
This is pretty much impossible with a vest.
Get a normal pack and strap stuff yo the front if you want, or look into Ribz packs in conjunction with a normal pack.

This is a dumb idea anon. Vests are for running. Their only upside being that they are secured so tight to your body they don't move around.
Get yourself a proper backpack.
Get a fanny pack and make them fashionable again.
Ribz front pack and a good backpack would be better.
