Hey, I am 19 years old and i am from Germany. I will be staying in canada for the next year and i want to do lots of outdoor related stuff like hiking and mountaineering. The only problem is, that i am traveling solo, and that I wont be up north in summer, so i will do most of the national parks in winter. I am planning on 1 to 2 week long hikes in tombstone, gates of the Arctic, maybe torngat and stuff like Banff, jasper and yoho. Is it possible to do week long trips in winter, while traveling solo? Has anyone ever done this and can share some experiences or some advice?

What /out/ experience do you have? I have a feeling if you are asking then you probably shouldn't attempt this on your own.

Ive been bushcrafting for the last 4 years and did serveral week long tours here in Germany, but only in spring and summer, so no snow at all. I know how I can survive in the wilderness, but I have never been out in the temperatures of the canadian winter

You're missing like $2k in gear and years of experience. Winter backpacking in Northern North America is no fucking joke.

>bushcrafting
is a meme that will be useless for your plan

Well money is no problem, but yeah i admit experience is the problem.
Well, I'll do tombstone for sure, so maybe i'll post in 4 months or i'm dead¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Motherfucker, this is serious. You're so far from prepared. You don't even know all of the shit that you don't know. Don't think for a second that this is all you either. If you take a second of a SAR team's time up with this nonsense I will desecrate your frozen corpse.
