Cabelas is shit, they over charge everything. Go there to look at quality of stuff, then go here to order it.

Only if it's a sale though, but the stuff is legit quality. Just don't overpay by getting non-sale stuff.

I go to Cabellas and rei to shop on my phone on Amazon. Only things I purchase are discounted items, or if it's something that costs the same everywhere.

I also regularly check out woot.com

Come fall time, they'll have a ton of dirt cheap brand new gear ranging from absolute shit to top of the line.

Although while visiting the in laws in NC, I was introduced to E-Z Bait & Tackle in Goldsboro. I don't think I've ever been so impressed with a store's inventory.

This. Everything Cabelas sells can be found about 30% cheaper online. I go there to try on boots and clothing, and handle any potential firearms I'm interested in buying. It's pretty fun walking around it and looking at all the stuff too but I'd imagine the novelty wears off if you go there often.
