i was out a few times practicing but there is so much more you can do with your time. lazyness or not i don't find the time for it until i don't actually need it. but then it will be too late huh? i don't live near woods have to travel a lot to practice. when i was younger i did a lot of crafting in the woods i was fairly good at improvising stuff no i would like to try the tricks i learned. but life moved on.

Probably because there's not much originality anymore, i think if there were more of the Ray Mears style bushcrafters it'd be a lot more fun to watch since it's a lot about knowledge, but the youtube "bushcrafters" tend to be all about promoting the newest gear. Personally i generally only watch the bushcraft cooking videos.

I don't remember the name, but I used to watch this guy who would show the shitty side of survival. One time he showed how to stuff all of the gross but edible parts of a fish into it's stomach to make a couple extra bites of calories. He then proceeded to throw the fish over his shoulder and only eat the guts.
