Has anyone been to killbear park in Ontario? Would you recommend?

It's a decent park. If you're up to it, Restoule is also a great one and it's just a bit further north.

sure kid.
I've been OP. It has a pretty nice lake for short kayak outings.
Ayyy me and my buddies go to Killbear every year. It's a pretty solid park with lots of stuff to do around that area.

is it free to camp there? if not why not use crown land?
Anyone ever been to awenda?

Would recommend but why. There are swaths of crown land up and down these places near the beaching area that isn't complete marsh / swampland. The rain nowadays probably made it really unbearable (HAH) but still good.
Also a lot of native reserves north and south of the area.

2x for these. It isn't as crowded like the peaks in Tobermory but just as insightful and nice. Never stayed overnight there but only in Tobermory.
